Great product

Not really useful as a laptop hub

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This USB-C/HDMI hub is small and sleek, which is great for portability. Unfortunately I have almost no use for it because it doesn’t work with my DisplayPort monitor at home, and at work the HDMI connection is good but it won’t acknowledge the existence of my monitor that connects with USB-C. It also forces slow charging of my laptop. I tried to look this product up on the Belkin website for guidance/troubleshooting but it doesn’t seem to exist. I don’t foresee myself using this in the future unless I need to plug in a ton of USB-C externals (not monitors) at once.

Love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this hub with my MacBook Air and it works flawlessly. The setup was completely seamless, just plug in and it works. The HDMI port delivers a very nice 4K video with zero lag, which has been perfect for presentations and streaming to my TV. The four USB-C ports give me plenty of flexibility to connect my external hard drive, phone charger, and other accessories at the same time without slowing anything down. The hub itself feels sturdy and well-made, and it’s slim enough to toss in my laptop bag without taking up space. I’ve had issues with cheaper hubs overheating or randomly disconnecting, but this one has been rock solid. It’s definitely worth the investment if you want something reliable and high quality.
