Strong plastic smell!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always sort of worry about chemical leaching with products like these! It smells so strongly of plastic when it’s heating up food. I heated up a batch of fries in here and they were perfectly crispy and warm. I will continue to use it but the smell did concern me! It is a very quiet unit compared to my other air-fryer and it looks very sleek on the counter.
