The outside of the unit gets extremely hot. Perhaps too hot I thought it was melted to the ceramic insert. I only made chicken in it, so far it cooked well

Got it today haven’t used it but I just don’t like how the lid does not fit completely on the slow cooker there is space between the cooker and the lid
