I love that every setting has its own timer and will turn off on its own; however, I have noticed at the beginning of every use (I’ve used 3 times so far) it sounds like the blades are hitting something very hard even when there’s just liquids in the blender

Not bad, but user beware.

Just be aware that bottom can separate and the blade will still spin. Don't leave un atten3d around kids.
