Lid does not open

The lid would not open! Great design just please fix the product and I will buy the product once you get the engineering design to function. Form is great but you need the product to function!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a great item to use when you’re having a party and you want to make something like tea for a lot of people. It heats up fast and works great.

It heats up quick to a boil and even has a chime to let you know when it is to your liking. All while not getting too hot on the outside and it even covers the heating element. Definitely would recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] kitchenaid never disappoints! of all the brands out there— i’ve been consistently impressed with kitchenaid when it comes to all things cooking and baking. with this kettle, i’m able to now whip up tea, hot chocolate, or whatever else quickly as possible. my most favorite part of the kettle is the ability to control the temperature (usually electric kettles just have one setting), makes it worth the while to not have to sit there and wait for things to cool down before taking a sip. alsooo, the sleek design ties it all in— a very vintage/retro feel that matches all other stainless steel appliances easily including my kitchenaid stand up mixer😊

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fast hot water and easy to operate! this allows you to choose the exact temperature you want for whatever it is you are brewing. The water heats up very quickly. The easy to open spout makes for filling this kettle very comfortable. it's safe to say I am impressed. Not to mention, the design of the kettle is very aesthetic on my counter! I would recommend this kettle to anyone in the market for an electric kettle.
