KitchenAid Cordless Hand Mixer is my first small household appliance powered by battery.
I often got whipped cream on the cables while working with a traditional mixer. KitchenAid eliminated all cable-related inconveniences.
I love the Soft Star function - I finally forgot about the splashing of ingredients.
Strongly recommended.

Doesn’t last

I bought this cordless mixer when it first came out. I was so excited! Last year it quit holding a charge, and now if I unplug it to use it, it runs about 1 minute and quits and of course it was out of warranty. I was SSSSSOOOOOOO disappointed. So I have returned to my refurbished Black & Decker mixer that I have had for 35 years. Kitchen Aide…..I am so disappointed.

Not a Happy Camper

I was so happy to find my red cordless hand mixer. I have a red/black/white kitchen. But the problem is:
the battery went dead long before I would think it should have & I cannot get another one...... have to order a whole new mixer! These things are too expensive to be disposable !

Great kitchen mixer

We’ve owned this mixer for a few months. We like the idea it is a solid mixer, quiet and best of all, it is cordless. We have a stand mixer but like this for the quicker smaller items we mix. So far we’ve used it on cookies, mousse, frosting and a cake batter with no complaints. We’ve just recently ordered the hand blender and intend to use the same battery. This saves us money and reduces clutter. Where the charge seems to hold up for a long time, we feel this will work well.
