[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So Easy to make apple slices for the kids, with or without peels. Also, giving me great ideas for backing. Easy to use and clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is easy to use and very versatile. I use it in a recipe at least once a week. I especially like the zucchini zoodler. It comes out perfect every time and helps with my low carb diet. The instruction video is great and it has put my Kitchenaid on the counter again and in use again. Plus I have other uses for it, so my Kitchenaid is back in style with today’s cooking style. Love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased the 7 Blade Spiralizer Plus with Peel, Core and Slice attachment based on reviews. It performs flawlessly and wow is it fast/efficient. Easy to set up and use and cleaning is a breeze. Certainly far superior to store bought summer squash noodles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a month or so ago but only used for zuccini noodles instead of spagetti. I also used it to peel and spiralize apples. It worked great on both. Very easy to set up and easy to clean. So far it's great just can't wait to try more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] GOOD: Despite what I wrote below, I love this product. Just wish it was a bit more versatile.
EXCELLENT: Makes fast work of most vegetables/fruit. 3 Zucchinis or Apples in under 1 minute
EXCELLENT: Peels, cores, cuts simultaneously.
GOOD: Quick set up/break down.
GOOD: Helpful storage package/container.
LIMITATIONS: Size dimensions. Vegetables/Fruit with limited diameter and length.
Reason it's BAD: Limits you to using medium sized everything. You can cut big things down, but not up).
LIMITATIONS: Carrots (width, Large veggies and fruit).
LIMITATIONS: Set blade opening width. Not publish. Thin means what? 1 mm? Median?
BAD: Vegetable Skewer: Pins that hold the vegetable/fruit in place.
One metal central spike surrounded by short plastic pins.
Using hard vegetables (potatoes): Skewer spins around so pins create ski lanes.
WORSE: The machine has no leverage to turn the vegetable (like spinning tires in sand), but the spiralizer continues to advance along it's track - nearly bending it backward and becoming deformed if not turned off immediately. I've had to turn it off several times, take the potato off, and head for my table top spiralizers which did the job quickly without a similar issue.
INDIFFERENT: Cleanup. Not as quick as the table top versions I have. Table top version have big blade plates. You can wipe them down quickly or throw them in the top of the dishwasher. The little blades of the KitchenAid have to be put on the prongs in the top rack of the dishwasher to make sure they don't fall down to the bottom. Washing by hand is problematic because the blade plates are small making it easy to cut your hands.
WISHES: Would like KitchenAid to publish the dimensions of the blade width, length, etc. When comparing different devices with fixed blade dimensions, it helps to know what dimensions each blade is.
Really thin potato chips/radish cuts or thick apple cuts.
WISHES: Make the vegetable/fruit skewer system better.
Photo later if possible.

Needs larger vegetable pin holder
on September 9, 2017

from Somerville, nj
Just received it, when trying to work with 3" zucchini the pin eat through the center after a few turns and then stops working. The disk needs to be much larger to work with normal vetables. Apart from that it's great, so i think i'll have to return it and get somthing else. I'll give it a few more days before i do.

Works great, except…

I have wanted this attachment for quite a while. I finally broke down and purchased it. My only complaint is with the peeler. If your potatoes or apples are small, the peeling is inconsistent. Don’t get me wrong, it saves me from having to peel and entire potato or apple, but I do still have to manually peel about 25% of the item. See video for example.

Excellent Attachment w/Some Issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this attachment as a replacement for an original Spiralizer (manual crank), which was made primarily of plastic, and was insufficiently robust to handle anything harder than a zucchini squash. Also intend for the attachment to replace hand-crank apple peeler/slicer.
Very happy with the peeler/slicer function of the attachment, and mostly happy with the spiralizer portion. I have 2 complaints:
1. The attachment is insufficiently long to allow processing of full-length squash, so I have to cut each vegetable in half. This would a minor problem, except it is exacerbated by my second complaint.
2. The spiralizing function of the attachment stops with over an inch of the vegetable unprocessed. When combined with my first complaint, this problem results in a loss of nearly 3 inches of each vegetable processed.
