[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mainly to peel and core apples. It does a fantastic job. I’ve yet to try the other blades, but I am very pleased with my purchase. It is also in a very nice storage box.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to eat healthier and love it .The spiralizer makes noodles out of veggies and I can have my veggie pasta and eat it too
Be careful with firm veggies, like butternut squash. Make sure it is good and ripe. Mine was too hard and I bent the blade. Don't be in a hurry or think you'll whip up dinner in no time. I found this to be a lot of work.
I just bought the Kitchenaid Spiralizer and it works great. I have peeled and sliced apples. I also have used the spiralized attachments for zucchini , squash and a sweet potato. I found the YouTube video for the sprializer very helpful. It makes eating health easier. It’s eady to set up and cleanup ... I tried many hand spiralizers before I bought this. The hand ones are not worth the money.
I love the concert of the variety of ways to cut and spiral foods. Works amazing on potatoes and apples but difficult to use on softer centered vegetables like zucchini. The pin to hold the vegetables quickly starts spinning inside and no longer holds a grip. These soft center vegetables are not as easy as the videos show.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this box of the attachments and it has been a hand saver and I mean that in best of terms. I had hand surgery, but need to peel a bushel of Apples to can this summer and these attachments have made it so easy to can this summer. I can wait to do the other blades, but that will be next season, since I didn't get this till I had processed the zucchini and squash this year. Thank you very much. I saw this item on "In the kitchen w/David" and had to have it.l
Just received it, when trying to work with 3" zucchini the pin eat through the center after a few turns and then stops working. The disk needs to be much larger to work with normal vetables. Apart from that it's great, so i think i'll have to return it and get somthing else. I'll give it a few more days before i do.
I would recommend this to a friend!
