[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I make a Sweet Potato and Apple Casserole for Thanksgiving and peeling and coring and slicing all those Apples and Potatoes by hand is a lot of work . And the Kitchen Aid Spiralizer is a god sent! Works wonderful and easy and cleans up in a jiffy.... Love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once it gets things peeled it does work good as an attachment but the peeling process is less than impressive, considering that not all potatoes and other vegetables and fruits are the same size if it's not perfectly sized then it has trouble peeling or over peels in spots.
So I gave it a 3-star rating because it does spiralize to an extent but the peeling process is pretty poor quality.
Keep in mind majority of our appliances in our house are KitchenAid but this one was pretty disappointing

I bought this to peel/core and slice apples. It worked great for the first 10 apples, then it stopped working properly. The slicer wouldn't advance, it just kept clicking on the gear drive. Plus it does not work on softer apples, the skewer holder ends up grinding a hole in the apple instead of holding it in place. Totally bummed and now I have to peel and slice the manual way.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best investment I have made! I love my spiralizer attachment it has cut my time to less than half with the peel, core, slice part. I make a lot of applesauce and apple butter this time of year. I cannot believe I lived without this.

We got one of these as a wedding gift. Ours looks a bit different than the picture though. We tried to peel potatoes with it and the stupid peeling blade could not adjust to the variations in potato sizes very disappointed. Looked to be a promising add on to the mixer.

I needed to peel 25lbs of apples, but after about 10 apples, it malfunctioned. The release handle would not stay on track and kept jumping, which in turn did not allow it to peel or core the apple. It's hard to slide the plastic piece over metal arm without anything on the spiralizer. Just too much friction!
