I bought this a month ago after wanting it for so long. Whilst it works fine on softer vegetables like zucchini, I find it very disappointing on heavier vegetables like sweet potato. The plastic holder is insufficient- both in length and strength for heavy veggies. It just shredded the sweet potato and didn’t hold it in position well. Having to cut down the veggies to fit was bothersome, but you do get used to it. If the design team are looking at upgrading this product in the future, I strongly recommend using a stronger metal holder to grip heavy veggies better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am so impressed how quick and easy it is to use.I’ve used it for fruit slices and vegetable slices so far and love how they turn out, so quick with peeling and slicing. On top of that the slices of fruit and vegetables look so good and make my dishes that much more impressive. I also love how easy it is to clean up after use

Simple to use and no mess.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had 3 previous spiralizers, one was a pencil sharpener style, tedious and messy, another was big white plastic one that you can stick to the bench with suction cups, this was very messy and a pain to clean. Finally I succumbed to getting the kitchen aid one. I'm extremely impressed. It's easy to set up and does such a great job. I only touch the food when connecting and disconnecting, there's no manual winding or turning. The blades are very easy to rinse clean under the tap (or dishwasher). The main part is supposed to be wiped with a dry cloth, we'll it hasn't needed that yet, it stays clean and dry just like new. And I love the case, everything stays neat and ready to use. I wish kitchen aid had cases for other accessories too!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this attachment when I bought my mixer and have used it almost daily, it is that good! It used to take me ages prepping zucchini noodles for a large family, but now it’s done in under a couple of minutes! I just love it! The kids love using it for coring and slicing apples too. So easy to use and comes in a well organised box for storage! Highly recommend !
