Expensive apple pealer

Just bought this to make pealing, coring, and slicing apples easier for apple pie. The thickest slicer/corer is not large enough to do a good job. The core is just a bit too small and leaves some core and seeds on the slices when using a Granny Smith apple about 3¼" in diameter. The slices are too thin for those who like a chunky apple pie.
Wound up only using the pealer which could be designed a bit better to not gouge out so much of the flesh of the apple. I used an apple corer and knife to core and slice the apples after pealing.
It is well constructed but suffers from some design oversights.
