Makes peeling and slicing apples so very simple.

Can't adequately express my disappointment

I attempted to spiralize a potato yesterday, using the peeler. The base, peeler, and blade all locked into place. Not only was the potato not peeled, the 1/4 closest to the end turned into a liquidy mush. It did not spiralize. After a few turns, even tho the blade was locked into place, the blade flew off. I took everything apart and tried again with a 2d potato; same result. Thinking to try a different vegetable, I purchased zucchini, which I cut in 1/2 to shorten. Again, it did not peel. I got a few 1/2 moon slices, not a spiral, the end turned into a liquidy mush, and the zucchini burst apart. I tried again with the 2nd half; same result. Do not purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I are on Keto and spiralize all kinds of things to make interesting meals. I have had several spiralizers but this one beats them all hands down. It cuts the strands so uniformly and so fast! Kitchenaid makes their stuff so durable - none of this flimsy plastic stuff. There is virtually no waste and the clean up is soooo much easier than other products. This is my favorite accessory so far!!

Best tool in my Kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this item several months ago and use it often. The spiralizer is great, saves me a ton of time and money. I have also used the slicer, peeler and corer. It is all very easy to use, clean up and I really enjoy what it produces with ease.
