Peel, core and slice

Not good for apples

I bought this after using it in a cooking class to make an apple tart. It worked flawlessly in the class and I was so excited to try it at home. When I did try it, it peeled way too much skin off the apples—like almost 1/2 inch which just didn’t work well and wasted a ton of fruit. Did I purchase a faulty unit? So disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the Spiralizer!

I had to always go to my mother in laws to spiral zucchini, but decided to buy this set. BONUS: My husband likes to use it ! Great spiral zucchini noodles in a flash. Nice storage unit for all the pieces too! You do lose about 1/4 - 1/2 inch of vegetable at the end though.

Never Ever I expected the product this bad from KitchenAid. It’s a waste of money and veggies. I would never think that cheap products would work better than Kitchenaid spirilizer.

Only problem is the fork is plastic.

The fork part that sticks in the vegetable is plastic. Mine broke making the machine useless. Also not really made for small or large imperfections of a vegetable.

CANNOT FIND ANY VIDEOS ON HOW TO USE

The instructions are minimal. I used the so called quick start which stated there are videos. I cannot find them. Looks like I just have to experiment and see what happens. They have great pictures of things it can do but the best instructions is the picture on the box. Seems like they would have videos organized by what you want to do and show how to set this thing up. Cannot really say I would recommend it since I'm not sure how to use it.
