Great Features - Not So Great Performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toaster is bulkier than I expected. I have to set the darkness to the maximum level just to get a light toast on an English muffin. For the price, I was expecting better quality.

I love this toaster!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never thought I could be excited about a toaster but I love it!! I looked at every toaster out there (and read every review) across the range of brands and prices and finally landed on this one. It makes perfect toast (I didn't realize what I'd been missing). It has enough features (i.e., bagel mode) to fill all my toast needs at a price point that doesn't make me feel guilty for having it sit oh-so pretty on my counter top.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Don’t buy this toaster

KitchenAid toasters are junk. Buy another brand!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received a replacement toaster and this one doesn’t toast evenly either, but the pattern is different. This one only toasts a wide stripe in the middle. It is similar to the other one in that it toasts significantly darker on one side to the other.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
