It’s the most expensive countertop appliance I have brought and so far it’s worth the money. We love smoothies and this blender gets the job done! No ice chunks at all! Loving it!

Jar Leaks

We don’t use this more than 6 or 7 times per month to make smoothies. Although highly rated when purchased, the leaking jar negates the rating. There are no parts to repair it and for the price of a replacement, I can buy a new one of a different brand. You would think that a company that can make a never failing stand mixer could do a better job. I’m going shopping.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Glass jar would be nice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything overall is good only thing That I dislike is the plastic jar. I use my blender everyday and after the first use my jar turned red from the chilli I used. Mind you I washed it right after I used it as I always do. Now it’s bit of an eye sore to be honest.

Two days in and I'm already in love

The dial is so smooth and responsive and the one touch on-off is easy for anyone to get the hang of. This is such a good blender for people who are tired of cheaper blenders that break after a year or can't blend ice, but also don't want to spend 500+ on a different model.

Cavitates

Powerful enough but cavitates too easily when making smoothies. I must compliment customer service in trying to remedy the problem. They sent a replacement jar first and then a complete unit. Problem persists. Using tamper not much help. So l live with it.
It is a well built blender and should last a long, long time like my last KitchenAid.
I'm waiting for the juicer attachment.
