This KitchenAid Blender is magnificent! It's a total joy to use. Makes my time in the kitchen doing food prep a pleasure, cooking and baking. The blender is also a combination of quality, excellence, beauty and functionality.

Superb Blender Missing Essential Accessory

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am delighted with my new blender which gets used every morning for making orange juice and several times during the week for making soups etc. This morning I made breadcrumbs in no time at all. Unfortunately customers in Australia and Aotearoa/New Zealand cannot purchase the 1 Litre Citrus Juicer accessory which I had to purchase in the UK and send to Adelaide. I very much hope this product will soon become easily available to those who invest in this excellent blender!

Superb blender, but missing something essential

I bought a black K400 to replace a less powerful blender and have not been disappointed. It makes excellent soups and is a real asset. A major problem, however, is that an essential accessory - the 1L Citrus Press (5KSB1CPA) - is not currently available to customers in Australia and Aotearoa/NZ. I therefore had to order this accessory in the UK and pay for it to be posted to Adelaide. Hopefully this shortcoming will be rectified soon.

Repeat issues with the jug

This was bought for me as a gift a number of years ago. Between two and three years after it was given to me (so within warranty period), it developed a rancid smell coming from the blade area of the jug - it appeared the seals had given out or similar. Had the jug replaced, which was fine, but now, the same thing has happened again. I rarely blend ice in it, and if I do, it's crushed ice, and it's majority used for making smoothies, so I'm not using it to blend up rock solid products. Now, the unit itself it out of warranty, the jug is only a couple of years old, and I'm looking at purchasing from another brand to avoid this reoccuring issue, as I can't use it as the smell goes through the drinks and it's foul. Photo attached showing the foul smelling liquid that oozed out when using the cleaning cycle last weekend. When it works, it's great, but frustrating when this has now occured twice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great blender but could be more quieter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this blender this month. Works very well but is still louder. Would be better if it comes with a sound blocking cover as an optional feature. But other than that a wonder blender and a nice addition in my kitchen!!!
