Throw away product
on April 18, 2022

Have had this blender for 1 1/2 years to make fruit smoothies. Yogurt, fruit, juice no ice. Bought it to replace a Ninja that was 1 yeas old that I couldn’t get parts for. It looks like Kitchenaid followed their example. The blade bearing is shot and you have to buy an entire pitcher to fix it. No more Kitchenaid products for me.They took a great product with a glass pitcher with all parts replaceable to a product that if something breaks you throw it away and buy another brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

KitchenAid quality that you would expect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Solid and heavy duty, does everything that you would expect from a blender. One thing that I would like to see changed is the jar should be glass.

BEAST Machine!

WOW, this thing is a BEAST! I broke it in making batter for potato pancakes. It turned those raw potato cubes and other ingredients to the perfect consistency in SECONDS! Ordinarily, on the blender I'd been using previously, I'd have to go a minute or more gradually increasing the speed from low to high before getting what I wanted. Not so for this monster! I'm so glad I got this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had excellent experiences with KitchenAid appliances and I’ve been without a large blender for a few years now. I’m happy I finally bought this one, I’ve been using mostly for smoothies, soups and sauces. It has wide speed range and efficiency. It cleans easily and I love the color.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Rust! Great blender but, inferior metals.

Model # KSB4027PA. I bought this blender for my wife a few years ago. Figured this was the Ferrari of blenders and should last a long time. We've loved it but, noticed within the last year when washing it after use, an orange-brown sludge has been leaking from the bottom of the jar, under the blade assembly/rubber gasket and just above where the metal sprocket is that sits into the coupler base. You can see where the rust is collecting under the jar/blade assembly and rotation gear. This then leaks into the motor base. Kitchen Aid must have used a non-stainless steel metal between the blades and rubber gaskets on the blade assembly. Such a shame to cut corners where you need it the most. My hope is, there's a stainless steel blade assembly that can be acquired to fix this issue. There is lots of life still in our blender. Please help.
