I wanted to buy a spare part for this machine and you can’t so apparently my only option is to throw the whole thing away. For the price you pay this is unacceptable.

A dream for food prep!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this for a month and have been trying to incorporate it into my everyday cooking. It makes food prep so much faster and the cleanup is easier than I expected. I can make a chopped salad, soup and homemade snacks in 5 minutes. The 13 cup holds so much food and I also like how neat it all packs away. My only negative is the plastic part to push the food down the feeder broke after the first use which was disappointing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor quality, broke down after 3 months.

Got this one as I wanted to replace my old Philips one which was smaller and already 8 years old (kept it aside) and I wanted something stronger to make praliné and grate cheese.
Well that Kitchen Aid one broke so fast, it started smeeling like burned plastic and smoking from underneath, I waited a bit then tried again and a loud sound happened inside the base, now completely broken. I was only grating some soft cheddar, and we are not talking about 10kg, no it was just one block of 1kg, I managed to grate about 700g before that thing broke down.
Glad I kept my old Philips one aside so I could finish the job.
Very disappointed in Kitchen Aid, especially this happened 6 months after my Kitchen Aid mixer broke down too (albeit after 5 years of use).

Good Product, Minor Improvements Needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the KitchenAid 13-Cup Food Processor two months ago and overall, I am very happy with it, especially the dicing disc, which is a great addition to this model.
There are a few minor issues: when shredding or slicing, some cheese or vegetables can get stuck between the lid and disc, which can affect performance. Also, the handle on the head slightly touches the disc while shredding, which can cause minor scratches. Finally, when processing larger items, you need to press the bigger handle in the middle to start the machine; otherwise, it won’t operate.
One disappointment is that the whipping/tipping attachment for cream is missing in this model; I’m not sure why it was eliminated.
Despite these small issues, the machine performs well and is a solid choice for everyday food preparation.

A whizz in the kitchen, a machine making me a whiz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this glorious looking machine that proves looks are not everything. But it enables me to create nearly everything seamlessly! Hummus, chopping walnuts, slicing vegetables, muffins and the list goes on. Easy to assemble, easy to clean, and sits comfortably in a corner on my bench. Same colour as my kitchen aid mixer and kitchen aid kettle. I am one happy cook
