Love my new pink blender

It IS an investment...a major price increase from most blenders. But after having it a few weeks I am so glad I decided to do it. Sturdy machine that feels like it will last a long time.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love my pink blender!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wonderful customer service! I had a blender with a pitcher that was leaking but still under warranty and they sent me a new one. I love the pink color and I use mine every day to make smoothies. It crushes ice easily to blend to the best breakfast smoothies. Kitchen Aid makes great products with great warranties.

It's pretty, but not good for certain things

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machine is incredibly nice, well built and we love having it in display in our kitchen.
However, the main problem is when making small batches or not liquid enough recipes. Due to the size of the blades and the distance between the bottom of the container and the blades, the food gets stacked at the bottom and sides, without the blades touching it while spinning, which becomes pointless.
I bought the smaller container option just to see it was better, but same issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What a wonderful gift!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The blender was sent to me as a gift from a friend when she learned that I had to go eight months without twelve teeth while new bone and implants healed. Everyone should have such a good friend! The blender is wonderful for anyone who cannot chew for any reason. My husband and adult children also love it for making exotic cocktails. There are so many uses for it which I never imagined. I will never be without a great blender again.

I decided to upgrade and purchased this KitchenAid blender as I have many other small KitchenAid appliances that I love. The first time I used it, I was making hot sauce. I was very impressed how powerful this blender is! Super easy to use, quiet, and made a hot sauce with a great consistency!
