[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this KitchenAid 1.7L Electric Kettle as the latest addition to everyday essentials in my kitchen (which is equipped with matching stainless steel Kitchen Aid appliances). The kettle’s automatic heating technology boils water quickly, efficiently, and quietly. I appreciate the safety behind the kettle’s ability to automatic turn off once the water is boiled. The variable temperature control is a practical feature that allows water to be heated within the range of 50 degrees Celsius and 100 degrees Celsius. I like the simplicity of the sliding knob for temperature control as well as the modern, aesthetically pleasing design of the kettle as a whole, which makes it stylish as it is functional. This tea kettle is durable yet lightweight, and the detachable swivel base makes it convenient to move the kettle to different areas of the home. The removable and washable limescale filter helps keep the kettle in proper condition. I will be using this electric kettle on a daily basis!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have worried about my tea making skills. It is a vague, nagging, worry. It doesn’t keep me up at night, there are bigger problems… but, other cultures have elevated tea to an art form. I sense that a microwaved mug of water with a teabag dunked in for an indeterminate amount of time is slightly disrespectful. I do endeavor to live artfully but fall dreadfully short in the area of food and drink. This kettle has temperature settings. There is a handy guide to the proper temperature for delicate teas (need to look these up), white teas, green teas, different green teas, black teas, herbal teas… It is really the least I can do. The Japanese have tea ceremonies one can study for a life time, at minimum I can heat the water to the correct temperature. This kettle makes it easy. No more excuses! The English worm the teapot before pouring in the water, can you imagine? Maybe if we all took a little more time to do things with intention and care we would value our daily rituals that have become routine- but I digress. Kitchen Aid has done it again, I can have a nice cup of proper tea in a pretty cup and sit down for a few minutes. This, I think is the point. No more tea in drive through, paper cups, to go tumblers… or at least less often. Life is short but there is enough time for a nice cup of tea. With this kettle I won’t make a mistake or have to guess the temperature of the water. World peace it is not, but it is something. I am very happy with this kettle and you will be too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you’re looking for a high-quality electric kettle that’s as stylish as it is functional, this KitchenAid kettle is a fantastic choice. Right out of the box, the sleek design stands out—it has that signature KitchenAid look, with a smooth, modern finish that looks great on any countertop. But this kettle isn’t just about looks—it’s also built to last. The construction feels solid and durable, giving the impression that it’s going to hold up well over time.
One of my favorite features is the easy-to-use temperature control. Whether I’m making delicate green tea, coffee, or just need hot water for cooking, I can dial in the perfect temperature without any guesswork. The digital display is clear and intuitive, and the hold temperature function is a nice bonus if you’re not ready to pour right away.
Performance-wise, it heats water quickly and efficiently, and the 1.7-liter capacity is perfect for everything from solo cups of tea to filling a French press for a full batch of coffee. The pour spout is well-designed, so there’s no annoying dribbling or mess, and the handle is comfortable and sturdy.
The lid is designed to stay latched on until you press the button to open, which is a nice safety feature for folks with little kids (or nosey cats!) in the house.
My only complaint is that it takes a few minutes to heat when the kettle is completely full, it's not a deal killer but it'll take some getting used to since previous kettle was a bit faster.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like that this electric kettle has temperature control. With previous kettles, my water always got too hot and it would take awhile for my tea to be an appropriate drinking temperature, with this kettle I can set it to the desired temperature and it is perfect! I set it to 80 degrees Celsius and waited for it to finish. (It makes a noise when it is done, almost like an elevator sound). I then made a mug of hot chocolate and was able to drink it right away! I have 2 small critiques: 1. I wish the fill window (where you can see how much water is in it) wasn’t right behind the handle. It is fine and it works but I wish it was more prominent on the side. 2. I wish the top opening was a little bigger. I want to only use filtered water from my pitcher filter but the smaller opening makes it easier to miss and spill some water down the side. Overall, I really like this kettle and will definitely be using it a lot!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Boils quickly, conveniently select the temperature directly on the handle. You can select the heating level, this is very convenient for preparing baby food (for example, powdered porridge needs to be diluted with water of a certain temperature). And the design is also cool. The metal body gives the device solidity and durability. The price is affordable for any family.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Kitchenaid electric kettle and I LOVE it! We are everyday tea drinkers so it’s great for that, but i’ve even used it for ramen noodles and hot chocolate for the kids. It feels safe and you can control the temperature. Highly recommend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Exactly what you didn’t think you needed! Sheik design but durable. Perfect hot cup of whatever you choose in record time. Definitely recommend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What can I say - Kitchen aid just makes the best stuff.
This kettle is sleek, has a high quality weighted metal design, and goes nicely with all our stainless steel/black kitchen appliances. Would look great as an addition to a home coffee bar or just on a countertop.
The temperature control is a fantastic feature - I’ve never had a kettle heat to exact temp and now I don’t think I could ever go back..
From start to finish a boil takes 2.5 minutes (highest temp setting) which is impressive. Almost twice as fast as my old electric kettle.
Will be easy to use for teas but also oatmeal and other warm dishes. Would definitely recommend!!!
