Not compatible with old kitchenaid classic

I received this as a gift and it doesn’t lock into my mixer correctly. It seems like it is locked in but when mixing heavier doughs, such as when making bread, the bow comes loose and makes a mess. I was really excited for this gift, but really disappointed when I found out it doesn’t work properly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Doesn't work with Model KSM90PSWH 4.5 qt tilt head

I just received this bowl today and discovered that it does not properly lock into the mixer base despite the claim that it works on all 4.5 and 5 qt tilt head mixers. I was unable to even mix the first batch of cookie dough without it coming loose. This bowl is totally useless for our mixer.
I cannot rate it lower than 1 in this app, but it should be less than a zero as it is useless, and I will now have to go through the hassle of returning it and trying to get a refund. I certainly won't order another bowl if they are all designed the same, but will continue to make do with the original bowl, with its broken off handle. At least it still locks firmly into the base.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this bowl to replace the heavy glass bowl that originally came with the Plumberry mixer you see next to the red mixer it’s currently on. It cleans up beautifully and casts a great reflection on the counter when the sun hits it! 😉

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my mixer a lot and leave it out on my kitchen counter. Now my mixer is functional and looks like a decoration. The bowl looks so much better in person. It takes the mixer and makes it look more upscale. Now the beauty of the bowl does not mean anything if it does not function well. The bowl is well made and cleans up beautifully. If you are looking for an upgrade or just looking for a new bowl, I highly reccomend this one.

It looks so pretty out on my counter and I have received several compliments when I have guests over. I usually just stick with simple, plain kitchen gadgets, but I am so pleased to have this bowl as a more decorative piece to use. The hammered bowl cleans up well and it's perfect for use around the holidays and family occasions.
