Best Food Processor Ever**********

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such fun trying out my new processor. Brilliant cold slaw in minutes and amazing mushroom and beetroot salad to enjoy with the family. I’ve made a fruit biscuit dough and just brilliant for mirepoix. Just the beginning of my culinary adventures.

So compact and versatile

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] initially thought the largest size processor would be a gamble but I’m so happy with it, better to have more room to play with in the bowl when preparing and so stoked that all the attachments fit in the bowl and don’t take up additional space in my tiny kitchen space. Even the packaging it arrived in was more compact than I expected with all the attachments already neatly inside the bowl without any extra annoying polystyrene. The silver colour is super sleek but still looks retro and I’m super impressed with the power of the motor with the attachments. Happy boy :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great tool to have in your kitchen. Saves so much prep time and efficient if you use it to its optimum potential.
Very happy with this, making cooking super quick.
A varied size dicing option would have been lovely.

A couple of minor annoyances, but otherwise great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was tossing up between the Breville Paradice 9 and the KitchenAid 13 cup food processor. On paper the breville seemed like a better machine, with a more powerful motor, but I ended up going with the kitchenaid for a few reasons.
- it’s so easy to store. I needed something that was easy to pull out from cupboards a few times a week, and the in-bowl caddy makes this a breeze
- It’s easy to use. I didn’t think I’d love the no-twist bowl and lid feature as much as I do
- It’s easy to clean. The water tight seal means I can fill it up with water and detergent and let it pulse until it’s clean. Or the whole thing comes apart and fits nicely in the dishwasher. The no-twist design makes cleaning up so much easier
A couple of things I don’t like:
- if I make a sticky batter the self-clean function isn’t be enough - I need to manually scrub then put in the dishwasher
- Using the widest chute can be frustrating. The machine will only run if the pusher is inserted and it needs to be inserted over halfway. This means while food can be as wide as the chute (14cm) it can only be a maximum of about 5cm thick. So I can’t process half a cabbage in one go - I need to slice it into about 4 pieces. It’s not a huge deal, but it does feel like a design oversight
A couple of things I was worried about before purchasing:
- the single size dice. The dicing function works well on everything I’ve put through (soft veg like onion and harder veg like potato). I was worried the 12mm dice would be an annoying size - too small for roast veg but too large for mirepoix. It’s actually great. It’s a good size for dicing veg to add to curry, soups, or stews. It’s a little smaller than I’m used to for roast veg, but still works. It’s a good size for diced onions that are going to be sweated down and if I need anything finer I just blitz it
- No julienne blade. This hasn’t been an issue because the large grating blade makes a decent julienne. It’s just slightly finer than the julienned carrots you can buy in a bag from Woolworths
- Lower power motor. Again, hasn’t been an issue. I’ve had 30 minutes of continuous vegetable prep followed by making a stiff pasta dough in the bowl and it didn’t skip a beat
- Single bowl size. The bowl size is a bit over 3L, which is big enough for all sorts of veg prep. My concern was making small batches of salad dressing or dicing a couple of garlic cloves. It’s hasn’t been too much of an issue but I do find I need to make larger batches in order for the food to be caught by the blade. I’ve found the fewest number of garlic cloves it will reliably dice is 8, and the smallest volume of salad dressing is about half a cup
Overall a great machine and I’d buy it again in a heartbeat. Would love to see a mini bowl attachment in future.

Best Food Processor we've had

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this food processor. It runs so quietly, easy enough to wash by hand or in my dishwasher, large enough for for our family needs.
Blades are extremely sharp so be careful, I've cut my
self twice already.
It is a bit inconsistent in the slicing but the grating, dicing, and blending works great.
Would be better if the opening to place food was larger.
Very happy 😊 Considering buying a kitchen aid mixer now.

Happy Christmas to Me !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Using the 3-in -1 food pusher to slice, I found it tricky to get my fingers into the provided slots to withdraw & thus reload the chute. It would be impossible for my husband with his big Norwegian hands. Eventually it was more effective to use 2 hands to withdraw the pusher, but it interfered with efficiency. Took longer to do the job as I couldn't have the next load of food in my hand to reload. That chute / pusher is smaller than on my former food processor. Haven't adjusted to it yet.
