Great updates to a chef's tool chest

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first food processor was a Braun and my second food processor was a KitchenAid. This is my third food processor and I am so glad I selected another KitchenAid. The new features are wonderful: You lift up to remove the bowl, there is a tidy tool holder that fits into the bowl, the lid is easy to remove and it is stable. The bowl and spindle on my previous KitchenAid cracked after using it regularly for many years. It has always been one of my go-to appliances for food prep.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I returned it the same day I received it. Base is way too big. Did not fit under my counter. Food feeder cup is much smaller than my previous kitchen aid empire red processor. No refurbished one available either. When my coffee maker died it was the same situation. Only have big stand mixer & blender (also on its way out) left. Why no more Empire Red??? Pretty soon I’ll have everything Kenmore. It comes in Red and not far off from the Empire Red. What a shame. No improvement that I can see and cheaply made at that!!!!

Very awkward to use for basic food processing

I received this as a Xmas gift after wanting/needing to replace my Cuisinart FP that I had had for years. I was so excited to receive the 13 cup KA. However, upon first use I’m not sure I like it. The storage thing with all the parts is a good idea to keep everything tidy, but I feel like I’m missing something when putting the pieces together for basic food processing. It took 3 separate parts just to get ready to use it. The blade is sitting so high off the bottom of the bowl how will it ever get ingredients down in the bowl mixed? What am I doing wrong? Also putting the blade in-be careful this thing is razor sharp. I sliced my finger. I’m a seasoned cook and very comfortable in the kitchen and using gadgets. This feels cheaply made, cumbersome to use and I’m not sure it will get the job done. I’ve been trying to add photos to show how high the blade sits, but site won’t let me upload them.

Dicing blade not included in 13 cup food processor

Doesn't come with dicing blade. I am unable to comprehend as to why they didn't add a dicing blade to the set

Lovely food processor until the plastic lid broke and can't be replaced. Clear plastic lid snapped at the latch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I was reading the operating instructions, I discovered the chopper attachment was not included in my product. I was disappointed and tried to order the chopper attachment as a stand alone item and see that it is not available.
