Carafe leaks no replacement available

It’s a great blender. Probably the best one I’ve ever owned. But after a few years the carafe is leaking and Kitchen Aide doesn’t seem to have any replacements available. As the leak gradually gets worse this whole thing becomes useless.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this to replace a reliable Oster that I have had for years but needed a stronger motor for frozen fruit/protein smoothies. The only issue I have is I have to remember to turn the knob all the way to off if I want to run a second cycle after the smoothie cycle. This is any time I want to run it after a smoothie cycle.
