[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used this over the Thanksgiving holiday. It was used for our cakes, pies and dough as everything was done from scratch. It worked great and we had no issues. It worked faster than doing the usual by hand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This review is for the Stainless Steel Pastry Beater For KitchenAid® Tilt Head Stand Mixers. This is a very well made sturdy pastry beater. Works great for pastry but also can shred meats , mash fruits ,vegetables and other things so its very versitile. Its very easy to clean and is dishwasher safe.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oh, man! I was so happy to get this pastry attachment right before the holidays. I usually make between 8-10 pies for family and friends for each holiday and this has made making the crust a breeze. The most tedious part of making crust is cutting the butter into the flour mixture and this made the process so easy! I will happily continue to use this when baking and highly recommend this if you have a kitchenaid mixer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this pastry blender head it makes blending pastry dough so much easier and it goes fast and it's so easy to clean Christmas how I do a lot of baking a pastry so this is going to come so any unless in handy around Christmas time it's going to be an easy cleanup because of stuff doesn't get off stuck in every little grooves but I love this pastries been blender

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before getting this accessory for my KitchenAid mixer, I was cutting cold butter by hand - which is not only time-consuming but also frustrating and wearing on my hands and forearms. This pastry beater cuts cold butter easily and quickly. It puts the enjoyment back into making pastries. While I haven't tried the suggested other uses, if it can cut butter as easily as it does, I am sure it can shred meats and mash fruits and veggies without a problem. I look forward to trying it for various other tasks.

Great mixer attachment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a mixer head I hadn't yet added to my connection and I was excited to try it out. I do bake quite a bit so I figured it would be handy for pie crusts and pastries- and it is. I love that it's metal- it's always cold which is best for the butter in pastries. So much easier and efficient than doing it by hand. I have found that I use it for many other things too- it's shreds chicken well and did a great job with mashed potatoes.
