It gets super hot when android auto is connected through wire. Gets super hot during calls as well. So much hot that you cannot hold it with your bare hand. Regret buying this phone
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hey Jahnavi, We appreciate your review of your Galaxy Z Flip7. Overheating concerns are taken seriously, and the Flip7 is built with thermal solutions that balance performance and comfort. It is normal for the device to warm up during intensive tasks and activities, but it shouldn’t become overly hot to the touch. If you are using Android Auto, it may feel warmer because Bluetooth, GPS, and other factors like weather conditions or sunlight, especially if the phone is in a holding case, can increase the temperature. We have some information that may help you keep your device running at a normal temperature. Please check out the article linked below. Thank you for your review; we appreciate you being a part of the Samsung community. Keep your Galaxy device at its normal operating temperature

I had a Z Flip4 that I traded in for this. It is great. I really like the larger battery. Everything is working great so far. Everything transferred easily from my other phone including my SIM card.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've been using the flip series since the 3rd generation and I haven't left since. Its def a bit early to say there are any issues with it but the screen and screen sides are so much better made than the 5 that I had for 2 years! Love this phone and awesome color! The camera has definitely improved as well!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Smart, stylish, and powerful with Galaxy AI
on September 3, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy Z Flip7 has been an incredible upgrade that blends design and intelligence into my daily routine. I use it for work, entertainment, and personal life, and the experience has been seamless. Galaxy AI has been especially helpful - from summarizing notes to real-time translations during calls, it makes me more productive and saves time every day.
Flex Mode is perfect for video meetings while I check documents, and the foldable design makes it easy to slip into my pocket yet opens into a large screen for serious tasks. For streaming and gaming, the vibrant display and smooth performance create an amazing experience, and the clear speakers add to the immersion.
The camera system is sharp and versatile, and paired with Galaxy AI editing tools, I can quickly enhance photos or remove distractions with just a tap. Battery life easily lasts a full workday, and fast charging is convenient when I’m on the go.
Overall, the Z Flip7 with Galaxy AI feels like more than just a phone - it’s a smart assistant, entertainment hub, and productivity tool that fits perfectly into my lifestyle.

The phone itself is nice but battery overheats just by going onto Facebook/ Instagram. Also the battery dies kind of quick. I switched back to my galaxy 23 I think my galaxy has a battery battery and never overheats
