Falling Back in Love With Phones: Galaxy Z Flip7

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t expect to feel this way about a phone again—but after going from Pixel 8 → Z Flip5 → Z Flip7, I’m honestly kind of enamored. The Flip7 feels like everything I wanted the Flip5 to be, but more refined, capable, and intuitive in everyday life. The form factor is still one of my favorite things! It’s compact in a way that actually fits my routine, easy to carry and check quickly, then opens into a full experience when I need it. It feels less like a novelty now and more like a polished, reliable daily driver.
What really stands out is the Galaxy AI (it actually feels useful). From cleaning up photos to summarizing things and smoothing out everyday interactions, it feels like the phone is working with me instead of making me dig. Performance is smooth and responsive, with no sense of sacrificing power for size, and everything from apps to multitasking just flows. The camera is also more fun and intentional, especially with Flex mode, it genuinely changes how I take photos.
And as a total clutz, this impressed me most: I’ve dropped it multiple times already and it still doesn’t have a single scratch! I like the way it looks, so putting a case on it just felt like an insult to such beautiful, sleek, compact design... the durability truly was a wonderful surprise hehehe. Overall, it just feels complete—not just a cool concept, but a phone I genuinely enjoy using every day

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since the essentials ph-1 phone I've sought a device that had good battery life while also was easy to use in my hand.
The Flip 7 with Samsungs Goodlock did that for me, allowing me to access most of my apps fully from the front screen without ever opening the phone.
This has completely changed my experiences with phones. I've become much more focus and less lost in the annoyances of finding out I have been doom scrolling for an hour.
The main screen is great when I flip open the phone but the front screen is perfect for 70% of the things I go to the phone for reducing my need for external battery and chargers to come with me. I get close to 2 days of battery on it.
When battery gets low (15% or so) I can just keep it closed and get an easy 9-10 hours out of it just off the front screen.
Other than thay, it is a great phone that has never lacked the power or connectivity to be with me. As an international traveler, I don't know that I could give it up.
