Feature Downgrade (S Pen functionality removed)

Only reason why I am getting a new fold is because my Fold5 screen is de-laminating.
The discrete removal of functionality is unfortunate - primarily S-Pen and also removal of behind-screen camera. I occasionally use the s-pen for websites that I have to view in desktop mode.

The S Pen compatibility was listed in the specs for the Fold6, but not the Fold7.
In addition, they want to charge restocking fee, even though the feature removal is quite discrete. Even some case vendors seem to be selling Fold7 cases with S pen slot.

I am also unsatisfied with the removal of the under screen camera. The punch-hole style camera is an eye-sore.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best overall fold phone ever

Great phone, Almost that is!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This phone does so much right that it's flaws can be glaring. It is beautiful and thinner than ever. That thinness seems to have left some features behind. S-Pen support is gone now. You have a bigger screen and lose a very useful benefit to a larger screen. We finally get the cameras worthy of a larger screen but it lacks any zoom. Digital zoom makes images look horrible. The biggest problem is battery life. Other companies figured a way to increase battery size and runtime when making their phones slimmer. Feels like Samsung who innovative the folding phone is now playing catch-up.

My first foldable phone!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Z Fold 7 is an amazing device. I switched from the S24 Ultra and love the multitasking aspect of this phone. Its slim, foldable design feels premium and makes multitasking smooth and enjoyable, really bright outer and inner screens. The Galaxy AI features truly elevate the experience, the smart photo editing removes unwanted objects effortlessly, I use that feature a lot, the audio eraser is great too!!
The 200MP camera is incredibly sharp, even in low light. I do wish it had the zoom of the S24 Ultra. The phone’s battery is good enough for me. I use 3 apps at the same time, play games and watch videos/movies. I can get around 6 hours of SOT with a mix of both inner (more usage) and outer screens.

I've had it for a few weeks, and I'm not disappointed. The Galaxy AI just makes it even more impressive with all the handy futures that come with it. The display is not as vivid as my Z fold 5, all app icons look pale on Z Fold 7 screen somehow, so have to return it, keep my Z Fold 5
