This phone is much better than I thought it would be. I traded in my Fold 4 for this Fold 7 and was surprised at the lightness of the phone and yet it is still very solid and very high performance. I am disappointed that they did not include the LED cover over the big screen camera as in earlier versions. I now have to see a dark spot on the big screen when watching a movie or video. The ripple in the big screen at the folded area is much better than the earlier versions. I hardly notice it whereas the others was a noticeable bump. I am very happy with this phone so far. Let's see if the screen laminate holds up after a year or so. The earlier versions bubbled after a few months.
Good phone, good screens, good cameras, fast processing and light weight a plus. Negative no S-Pen, liked that function. Wish there was an alternative.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the most game-changing device that I have ever purchased. Years prior I was a OnePlus user, then I moved over to the Google pixel series. Now coming to Samsung specifically the Galaxy Z fold 7 has been an overwhelming experience for only the Good. Speaking of good, good luck is such an essential app that comes from Samsung. Not to mention the Galaxy AI and all the features that come with it. I truly appreciate this.

Hi there GurnseyT, Thank you for reaching out and sharing your insights on the Galaxy Z Fold7. Its new design features a tighter, more secure closing to better protect the device. An improved spring mechanism allows for a closer fold, minimizing the risk of obstructions when closed. However, opening the Galaxy Z Fold7 can sometimes be challenging due to its slim, flat profile, which makes it harder to grasp firmly, and because the magnets holding it shut require extra force. To ease opening, try using two hands—placing your thumbs on opposite sides and gently pulling apart. Adding a case can also enhance grip and make opening easier. Regarding the fingerprint reader, ensure your case doesn’t cover the power button and that your finger fully touches the reader when unlocking. We appreciate your feedback and value your support. -Ty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Design: Samsung Finally Nails the Form Factor The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is the foldable phone we've been waiting for. For years, the major drawback of the Fold series was its bulky, two-phones-stuck-together feel. The Fold 7 completely solves this, arriving as Samsung's slimmest and lightest foldable yet.
The AI Leap: Galaxy AI and Gemini This is where the Fold 7 truly steps into the next generation. The combination of the Snapdragon 8 Elite NPU and One UI 8's Galaxy AI makes this device feel like a genuinely smart personal assistant. The large screen elevates the core AI features
