almost perfect companion!

I’ve been using the Fold 7 for a while now, and it has held up well! There are just a few features I wish had been better to make this phone perfect:
- Fingerprint sensor – It doesn’t register accurately (given the slim profile) when a case is on, and it’s even worse if you’re left handed. It would make more sense to place the sensor on the left side (same location, but on the opposite half of the screen) and away from the volume button. This would make it more accessible for left handed use while the phone is unfolded, and better accessible when the phone is folded and when there is a case on (which most of them would have). An under‑display fingerprint reader on the folded screen would be even better.
- Screen width – While the current width is acceptable, the phone would be much more efficient if the screen size matched that of the Samsung Ultra series.
- Battery – The battery holds up well, but ideally it should at least match the capacity of the Ultra series.

Great foldable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my fold 7 for 3 months now and love it. It's great for multitasking and playing games. I haven't been been disappointed. Only downside is I work in a really dust environment an it's always getting dust in the hinge even with a case that covers it.

Best phone ever! The build quality seems outstanding and the additional fold specific features are really well designed. Usability of the large screen is really great and every app just looks better. I am able to use it a lot more than I thought. My work laptop coincidentialy died a few weeks into owning the phone and the multitasking on the larger screen as well as DeX feature allowed me to work nearly like normal.

Thinner phone, Less phone

This is my fifth folding phone and with this generation Samsung has moved in the wrong direction. The form factor is incredible, it's amazing this phone can be this thin. However, it's awesome thinness is it's downfall. I think it's worse at being a phone. The speakers are much worse, I have worse service in certain places, hinge doesn't stay at an angle well, S Pen is gone, battery could have gotten better, vibration is weak, huge camera bump, mediocre charging speed, etc. It is thinner and lighter, don't know what it got me, I do know what was lost, and I paid more for it.
I'm happy the "AI" "features" are pretty easy to ignore, but I'm not a fan of the marketing gimmick.

The foldable display makes multitasking and media viewing far more immersive, and the overall design feels sleek and modern.
