Best phone ive used in years

Easily the best ZFold yet, but its not perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been lucky enough to have every Fold since the Fold 3. I switched for a time back to the S series but when they say "once you Fold you can never go back" they are 100% correct.
The Fold7 is the first foldable I've had that didn't feel unnecessarily heavy or thick. Now with the Fold7 they didn't even realize I had a foldable until I unfolded it!
You also notice how much lighter it is compared to previous generations. Its much easier to use in one hand now that it doesn't feel like a brick.
The reason for only 4 stars is for two things, the camera, and the crease.
The camera holds up decently, even with the massive bump out that makes it wobbly on a flat surface. It is not to the Ultra standard though even though its a higher priced device. If I'm paying the high price tag I expect the best for the whole phone. Anything over 5x starts to get grainy and pixelated which is a huge downside.
Galaxy AI has improved and its scene optimizer really helps improve focus on what you actually want in the picture. For example I took a picture at a baseball stadium and there was one couple in the entire section that took away from the grandness of the stadium. Galaxy AI was able to remove the couple and add two empty seats in seconds. I've shown friends and they have no idea that a couple was in the shot until I show them the original photo.
Get rid of the crease! Its much less noticeable but its time to remove it especially since its been done on other foldables.

A world of its own, incredible phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this phone. It's such a big difference. I'm coming from a big competitor and the transition was a breeze. I love everything about this phone. It has so many features I didn't know I needed and once you open up the fold, omg it's a life saver. My eyes aren't what they used to be when it comes to reading so the big screen is an absolute game changer. When I first saw this phone in person I thought it was a regular Samsung phone and I was so surprised to find out it unfolded like wow! I can't get over how great it is. One of the best purchases I've made. Can't wait to see what Samsung comes up with next. Galaxy AI is AMAZING!!!! 💕

Love the updates to the software, Galaxy AI is awesome and helps me every single day! Love that I have a tablet in my pocket when I wanna watch content or need to multi-task! Different and refreshing

The form factor is the best I've ever experienced—it feels incredibly comfortable in the hand and is perfectly balanced for one-handed use. The cameras are fantastic, consistently delivering great shots in all kinds of lighting conditions. I also love the very usable outer cover screen. It's not just a tiny window; it's a genuinely functional display that makes the phone feel complete even when closed, almost like having a second, smaller phone ready to go. My only real complaint is the battery life, which is mediocre at best. I find myself constantly looking for an outlet to top it off with heavy use.

Getting close to perfection

I have had the Z fold 3, 5, and now 7 and I feel like we have finally hit the point where the large folding phones feel like mature products. The form factor nails it in that closed it feels like a normal candy bar phone that then unfolds into a media consumption powerhouse when I have downtime. People are shocked when they find out it unfolds! The baked in Galaxy AI features like the now bar and photo editing are genuinely useful additions without feeling gimmicky or intrusive. The cameras are finally up to par with other high ends phones. My only two nitpicks are the camera bump making the phone rock when on a flat surface and the battery life. For the latter, battery life has been adequate, but with the protect battery feature limiting charging to 85% I do sometimes need a top off before the end of the day. It would be nice to see Samsung fit larger cells or switch to silicon carbon batteries for the next major upgrade. Otherwise, this feels like the most significant upgrade I've seen to Samsung foldable and I'm in love with it. Very happily recommended!
