Exemplary display of technology advancement

Such a stunning cellphone! I have owned 4 fold iterations beginning with the Fold 3 and in that time span, the advancement and refinement of supported features, software also hardware are incredible.
Last year with the Fold 6, I had a feeling that things were about to change drastically. As soon as I held this Fold 7 in my hands, I realized that this device is what I was craving all this time.
I've gotten used to many features this device offers, multi window, edge panel (all the way back to the Galaxy S 7 Edge), camera with hand wave activation, some AI features, Good Lock for customization, etc.
This I love: how thin this device is, the display is incredible, the camera? Holy moly! The outside display? Welcome back bigger screen without unfolding!
Cons? There's gotta be some right? The S pen? Nah, I bought it with my Fold 3 and barely used it. Mainly because the phone didn't have a place for it, otherwise I think I would've gotten used to give it more time. Since that was not the case, I do not miss it.
The under the display camera feels like a step backwards on asthetics only. I am getting used to seeing it again after it being gone for a couple of years.
Now that the display has gotten even bigger when opened, I think users with smaller hands might actually dislike that (my spouse is on the Flip boat for that reason alone)
These are my takes on a day to day use of the phone. I don't get too deep into anything else because I'm trying to keep basic for what we truly use the phone for.

A Whole New Way to Phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the fold for over a week now. I switched from an iPhone 15 Pro Max and honestly I thought I'd miss iOS more than I have. The amazing form factor and hardware are like nothing else. Galaxy AI is super easy and natural to use for pretty much anything I use my phone for. Being able to multitask with 3 different apps at once has made me much more efficient in that I don't get distracted going in and out of apps with that "what was I doing?" moment. Thanks Samsung for creating this marvel, now just put a silicon carbon battery in it and I'll be even more thankful for the increased battery life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a longtime tech enthusiast and early adopter, I’ve owned many Galaxy devices over the years — and I’ll keep buying them because Samsung continues to push boundaries with innovation and the seamless ecosystem.
Right now, I’m typing this review on my Tab S9 Ultra, listening to music on my Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, with my Galaxy Watch 8 Classic on my wrist — and my brand-new Galaxy Fold 7 right next to me. To say I’m impressed is an understatement.
The Fold 7 is, in my opinion, a work of art. It’s light, powerful, and the perfect device for productivity. Most of my work is internet-based, and while my coworkers and even my CEO are fumbling with their phones to find information, I unfold my Fold 7 and pull it up on an 8-inch screen in seconds. It’s smooth, fast, and stunning to look at.
Before this, I owned the Fold 4, and I was already hooked. I once had to give a presentation when my laptop went down — no stress. I connected my Fold 4 to a portable monitor, Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, activated Samsung DeX, and carried on without missing a beat. At the end of the meeting, someone asked how I pulled everything off so smoothly. I simply pointed to my phone and said, “This is Samsung. You have no idea what it’s capable of. Keep your fruity phones — I’m Galaxy for life.”
And with features like Galaxy AI that can bring up and highlight settings just by describing what I need, the Fold 7 feels like having a digital assistant built in.

Almost Perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Firsts impressions: looks and feels refined and polished. Opening and closing the phone feels so satisfying, solid, smooth and strong. Screen is vibrant, bright and beautiful. Multi tasking on this phone is amazing and very productive for my day to day. Gaming and this phone is like a match made in heaven. So much screen real estate gives plenty of room for the on screen controls and visuals to work together and not feel so crowded. Working with "Galaxy AI" is like having a super artistic and smart best friend in your pocket. So many answers at your fingertips. I love the fact that AI remembers previous conversation or context that make it feel so natural to use. This phone doesn't break a sweat doing all this and more. What would have made it perfect for me would have been the fact if I was able to say that I had the best camera and video capability that Samsung has to offer in the mobile smartphone world. Don't get me wrong the camera and video still look amazing and it has so many ways of using the front and rear cameras to be creative and bring out the inner photographer in you, but it feels like it could have be refined, tuned and optimized a little bit more to have the best Samsung could offer. That being said. I could have done without the black dot (camera) on the inner screen that I have never used even in my previous folds. I didn't mind having the under display camera on the previous models. I thought that was a unique feature Samsung had on everyone else. & S Pen

Lifetime apple user turned samsung

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been an avid apple user since the iphone 4 but after the 16 and the failure of apple AI I tried the galaxy z fold 7 with (working galaxy AI) and I'm in love. This device is perfect I love the tablet and phone i now have. Super thin I love the galaxy AI photo editing. I was bored with apples lack of innovation and this phone has turned me. Highly recommend this phone or "phablet" if you will to everyone!

I upgraded from the S23 Ultra to the Fold 7

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded to a Fold 7 which is my first foldable device since they've released. I was looking for something that could double as a tablet and phone without me having to carry around both. This phone is the perfect fit for what I was looking for. Not only does it have all the capabilities I need in a phone but being able to unfold it and use it like I would a tablet is huge plus to me! Multitasking is so simple and being able to customize it to fit your needs is super easy and fast.
Using the Galaxy Ai is a fun ability to play around with in my everyday use. Editing photos, creating stickers and simple tasks are always fun to mess around with using Galaxy Ai. Id highly reccomend this for anyone thinking about making the switch.
