Awesome Phone
on August 24, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just upgraded from the Fold 4 and glad I did. I just love the multitasking you're able to do with the Fold series, whether it beemails, spreadsheets, online shopping or just watching a video on the side. With this phone being the lightest phone ever and what I'm able to do all together just makes switching back to a traditional phone difficult.
Another thing that really take things to the next level is the Galaxy AI. Photo editing with this Ai tool is so easy, you just circle and delete what you don't want and being able to see the differences side by side to compare the two is a nice feature to have.
With all this being said the only reason for not having 5 stars is the battery size. Although Galaxy AI is used to help optimize battery usage, not putting in a bigger battery when all other foldables have opted to is a little dissapointing.

The Best Fold Yet

Overall, this is a huge leap forward for the Fold series. The Fold 7 is ergonomic and well proportioned now. Gone is the skinny and unoptimized front screen, it now resembles and functions as well as a bar phone. Then, once you open it up, you have a mini tablet, and many apps are now optimized better to function better on it. The part that is lacking and the reasoning for taking a star off is for a couple reasons. One, the battery is unchanged in capacity from the Fold 6, and the phone barely lasts until after dinner. Not reassuring if you’re taking it on the go for the day, especially if you are using it in tablet form moreso. The second problem is the fingerprint scanner location and functionality. It sometimes works, if you can properly find it.
Overall, a well designed device with a lot of pluses from prior models and updates, but also with some missed opportunities for upgrades.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thank you for your review of the Galaxy Z Fold7, Olly. We appreciate that you love its functionality and see it as an extension of your computer. Your experience highlights how the Fold series blends the convenience of a mobile device with the capabilities of a computer. If you haven't tried it yet, we encourage you to explore the drag and drop feature. This feature really enhances efficiency by allowing you to move images and text seamlessly between apps. For example, you can easily drag an image from an email into a PowerPoint presentation or transfer a paragraph from a Word document into a text message with just one motion. It’s a game changer for getting work done more smoothly. If you have any concerns or need assistance, please feel free to reach out to us at Samsung Support. -Kelvin

Insane speed, sleek design, samsung killed it with Fold 7. Bigger display and thin phones is the new trend I guess. Cant wait to see what Fold 8 has to offer.

Volume Key
on September 15, 2025
Posted by: Reddog
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] *I think the volume key should be on the screen that folds up.
* Honesty I'm a huge Samsung fan. But I was very disappointed in the fold. Samsung needs to keep the pen!
* Samsung advertised the fold for business users!! Add the pens back!!

Worth th upgrade. Best foldable phone in the marke

Technological marvel. I used to have fold 5, traded in for fold 7. The difference is terrific and all positives.
1. Front display is regular phone size compared to narrow display. I was ok with fold 5 but feel great with fold 7.
2. Bigger phone than fold 5.
3. Unfolded, fold 7 has much smaller crease, barely noticeable
4. Top of the line camera: fold 5 didn't have top of the line camera. Fold 7 has..
5. Best of all: Thin and light... Much lighter than fold5. Kudos 👏 💐 🥳
6. Trade in option. I would've never been able to afford this phone without this option.
Wish list:
1. Same battery size as fold 5. Would've liked to see more, but well; it's alright.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The New standard
on October 14, 2025
Posted by: Dollazphl123
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first picked up the Z Fold 7, I was shocked at how not clunky it is. Folded, it’s just 8.9mm thick and 215 grams—lighter than a Galaxy S25 Ultra, which is wild for a foldable. Unfolded, it’s a crazy 4.2mm, the thinnest book-style foldable out there, beating out the Honor Magic V5 by a smidge. It’s not just numbers; it feels awesome in your hand, like a regular flagship phone. The hinge is smooth, with a satisfying snap that doesn’t wobble or creak like older models. Samsung says it’ll survive 200,000 folds, so I’m not worried about it falling apart. The frame’s made of this new Armor Aluminum, and the cover screen and back use Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 and Victus 2—tough stuff. It’s got an IPX8 rating, so it can handle a dunk in water (1.5m for 30 minutes), but no dust protection, so keep it away from sand. I got the Jet Black version (there’s also Silver Shadow, Mint, and a cool Blue Shadow online exclusive), and the matte finish doesn’t turn into a fingerprint mess. It comes in four colors, and I dig how sleek the black looks. But it’s so thin, I’m paranoid about dropping it. The camera bump makes it wobble on a table, and without a case, it feels like holding a fancy glass sculpture. Samsung throws in a slim case, which is nice, but I’d grab a sturdier one if you’re clumsy. Honestly, this is the first Z Fold I’ve carried every day without feeling like I’m lugging a brick. It’s a phone when I’m running around, a tablet when I’m chilling—best of both worlds.
