A "wow" from a folding phone veteran

Upgrading from a fold 5 to 7. Love the new size and how slim it is. A bit sad about them nixing the under-pixel camera on the inner screen since it was so neat, but I feel like I won't miss it. Love the green color too. Feels great in hand, I do use both a case and a popsocket, which I think really helps me keep a good hold on it. Unboxed it at work and a group of coworkers oohed and awed at it. We'll see how it holds up but based on my fold 5 staying pristine over the last 2 years despite a few frizbee-esque drops, I'm hoping for great things. I will say the hinge on this thing feels crisp and so satisfying to me, even as a folding phone veteran. I'm really impressed so far. Pic is a comparison of my fold 5 in a case to the fold 7 in a case. Samsung didn't sell a full case so I went with an aftermarket one that covered both sides.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What I've been waiting on

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just received my galaxy fold 7 in jet blue and this phone is what I've been waiting on. As a fold and a flip user from the beginning the z fold 7 is by far the best on. The cover screen is now more functional. I don't have to keep opening my phone to type and watch full screen. The thiness of the phone is also awesome. It's light and sleek. The one UI 8 is flawless. The layout and the speed of switching from one thing to another is seamless. The clarity and the way my monopoly game looks is chef's kiss. And with the camera, I like it I just hate the fact that they removed the under display camera. I enjoyed that in the fold 6. Not seeing that camera hole was a good thing for me. The speakers and bass took a hit as well. The 6 had good speakers and bass. Let's talk about AI...I love it. The note feature is a favorite and of course the removal of unwanted items and background noise is good too. I've seen the object removal on other devices and weeeellll lets just say Samsung nailed it...lol. O did I mention the multiscreen is a winner. I play my game and text at the same time all the time. So as you can see I love my phone..lol. The Fold 7 in my opinion did not disappoint.

It's finally ready!!

It's finally here!! The foldable smart phone has finally arrived!!! I came into fold at the zf6. I can say that the few concerns I had with this concept are resolved. I love this phone in every way. I wasn't ever much of an S pen user even w my s22 ultra before, so I'm good with the sacrifice that had to be made to make it better. Its thinner of course, better typing on front screen. No more fat finger texts, battery life is still great, OS is very smooth. ETC....I got mine on preorder at a great price. Thanks for keeping the price okay enough. Well done samsung, well done!!

Worst phone I ever had.

Worst phones we ever had.both me and my wife hate this phone. Has a mind of it's own left side is phone when open right side is adds i didn't buy to look at adds. The flip phone was a better it fit in pocket and the screen was protected

Great but Could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy the fold seven. However I really wish that the battery was a little bigger even though I do get most today without charging. I would like to also like that they treat this phone as a flagship and use the best quality parts available. I would them to redesign the camera bump placement. When trying to charge on certain wireless charger it gets in the way or if you're trying to use a case with magsafe accessories the camera hump gets in the way of some.
Overall I'm really enjoying this device I'm coming from a s22 Ultra. So it is superior device compared to my old device. This will be my first full device and I really enjoying it so far.

Samsungs Galaxy Z Fold 7 - Terrible

My first disappointment came when I realized that the Z Fold7 did not support the S Pen.
The next disappointment came when I had to keep the phone plugged in or the battery would drain extremely quick.
Galaxy AI is way overrated. AI does offer some nice features but most aspects of AI are gadgets that most users won't use.
For a phone that cost as much as the Z Fold7 you would expect so much more. By the S25 instead. Much better phone.
