I waited a few months to get mine as my early production Z Fold4 suffered hinge issues. The 7 is certainly an improvement - it's much thinner and the outside screen is pretty much full size. I decided to preserve the thinness by going with a thin carbon fiber case instead of my usual leather cases. I have noticed two issues so far: 1) the back button is sometimes unresponsive, not sure if this is a hardware, firmware or software issue; and 2) the battery life is not great. I charge mine to 90% to preserve the battery, and barely get through a full day. I wish they had made the phone just a little thicker to allow for more battery capacity. The other frustration I have is that a short while after I bought it, the Trifold was announced. While that is significantly more expensive, I would still be interested but don't want to trade in a new phone. If I had known the Trifold was on the horizon I might have waited - my August 2022 Z Fold4 still works well.
