Definitely a step up!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The galaxy fold 7 has been a game changer for my everyday use phone. The ability to open it up and use two apps at the same time does wonders for quick research or gaming and playing YouTube videos at the same time. I like using the Galaxy AI to create dungeons pictures and the larger surface area with my S-Pen make my simple doodles come to life!
Battery life lasts me all day with regular use. Typically from 7am - 5pm with a combo of web-surfing (fast), gaming, streaming, and taking photos.
I do wish it had the 100x zoom, the 30x is nice but being able to verify footsteps on the moon is just plain fun. Would like to see it come back in a future model or maybe find a way to use the built in AI to accomplish it.
Pictures are clear and are snappy without losing quality. And using the Galaxy AI editor to remove unwanted background objects or people works great!

The fold Gold STANDARD!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having upgraded from previous fold phones on the market today, I can say without a doubt that Samsung nailed it with the Fold 7. I didn't think the phone being slimmer would be a game changer for me, but with the larger outer display coupled with the thinner design this phone is front pocket ready. Even with some of the premium cases on the market(Vrc), it still takes up very little room. I thought I would be upset about it not being stylus compatible but the new software advances in including Galaxy AI, it recognizes your finger considerably more accurately than previous phones. With that being said it would still be nice in future models to have a digitizer on the outer screen. Although, they sacrificed that for a thinner phone, and if you bought a fold you might as well open it up and use the larger inner screen (with a much lesser noticable crease) for any stylus type work. Another consideration is the larger camera bulge. I was originally concerned this would be an inconvenience when using wireless charging. I have used both single and double phone stand chargers, even with a case on the phone and it charged well on both stands. At first I attempted to set the phone on the stands with the camera bulge off to the side to make better contact with the back of the phone. That proved to not be necessary, I just center the phone on the charger with a gap caused by the cameras and it charges just fine. This was a great purchase. I hope this helps. You wont be disappointed. 👍

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this phone, its an upgrade from the Z Fold 4. I love the Samsung phones and tablets. I Haven't done much with the Galaxy AI yet though. I would definitely recommend the Z Fold 7.

The Samsung Fold 7 is an AMAZING phone! I have been looking at the Fold for the past 2 years, but didn't pull the trigger due to the extra weight and thickness compared to normal phones (I have been using the Flip and loved it's size and flexibility). However, this year the Fold 7 really took a huge leap forward with this super slim and lightweight design! I have been using the phone for a few weeks straight and absolutely love it!
Some improvements I would love to see for the Fold8:
1. Longer battery life - right now I am only getting ~% hours of a large screen time and I need to top up the battery at least once per day. Please consider using silicon-carbon batteries like the the Chinese manufacturers!
2. Fixing the camera bump - can you make it more like the Pixel Fold 10 where its horizontally laid out vs. vertical? The vertical messes up the balance and the Qi2 magnets!
3. Qi2 out of the box - I ended up getting a case with Qi2 which kind of works, but the camera actually makes the magnets misaligned and awkward. Please make it Qi2 compatible straight out of the box!
4. IP68 - this is probably my lowest ask. I would fix the first 3 first.
