My First Ever Foldable, Worth it!

This was the first foldable phone I ever genuinely was interested in. The first folx I ever saw howeer was the fold 5. Ever since then I always had that Z series in the back of my head. When the Z fold 7 came out, I knew it was the phone for me. I never had a current generation phone until now. I was previously using a Note 20 Ultra 5G before I switched to the Z fold 7. It was so worth it because I really like doing art. The size of the screen is just right to not be too big or too small for my finger. I have made my best art pictures with this phone. Not to mention, the efficiency and customization on this phone is AMAZING. One single thing I am picky about (this is very small and more so a UI thing) is that this phone does not have the best customization when it comes to the app icons. I mean, sure, the glass looks nice. However, the glass doesn't really feel like "glass" it feels more like plastic. It would be so so nice to see something like IOS's liquid glass on samsung phones, especially the Z series! It would totally compliment the asthetic of how the inner screen looks when it's being folded or unfolded.

Z-fold 7 is a step back.

I'm an enthusiastic user of the Z-fold 5. As construction superintendent, I'm constantly viewing double sized, detailed engineering drawings using my s-pen, to make notes and modifications on my Z-fold to share with everyone! I can take photos and makes notes with my s-pen about everything!
By leaving s-pen functionality out of the Z-fold 7 you've made it a toy more than a tool.

Total productivity design failure: Fold-7

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my Samsung device for everything. I use it for work especially when grading papers for my Masters and doctors level students. However, the new Fold 7 does not meet up to my needs like the previous models did. When Samsung took the pen away from the phone, they took the productivity away as well. I think it was an experiment that really failed but they didn't tell their customers beforehand. Had I known that the s pen was not included with the Galaxy Fold 7, I would not have purchased it and would have kept my older Fold 5 device. My experience left me feeling betrayed and misled. Samsung knew this but did not provide the information up front. This phone is not a good phone for productivity. It is good for streaming, website searches, etc. It's really good for those that have trouble with their vision and need a bigger screen. Every single Galaxy Fold series phone I have owned has been replaced on several occasions due to glitches and or cracked screens. Not from falling, but from using it as designed. As an example, opening up the phone. If a crack develops within the seam of the fold, it's your fault. You damaged it. Samsung will not admit to the well-known and documented problem. I have only owned the Samsung Fold 7 for about a year. It usually happens within 1-2 years of use. Due to the expense of this phone, one would assume it would have better quality assurance. That's my honest review. Without a major change happening, I will choose another company and device.

Very good but could improve

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although the Zfold 7 includes Galaxy AI features and all that, the battery part could improve - especially if youre thinking of using it up to 80% to protect it. It is a mix of having the option for a bigger screen with the downside of a little less power and camera quality. Not bad if you're not a gamer or use the camera a lot. Great for videos and series.
