Great phone love how thin it is and bigger screen. I upgraded from the fold 6 and its definitely a noticeable difference. The hinge feels snappier and stronger, less of a crease on inner screen. Definitely happy with my purchase.
Tried getting this phone twice, and both times had water condensation in the camera lenses. At which point I decided it was trash and went back to my old phone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Galaxy Fold7, is it worth it?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't use the Galaxy AI features, so I can't comment on them. I can tell you that there are a decent amount of things that don't resize to a 1:1 square. This will cause elements to be off of the screen or a straight cropping of the application. Sometimes you'll be prompted to restart applications if they were opened while the screen was unfolded and then you try to open on the single outside screen.
Ultimately the camera sucks. Samsung Wallet isn't supported by as many as Samsung would like to think so you'll get annoyed by the forced center swipe up that can't be changed to Google wallet. The wireless charging is so pitifully slow (especially power sharing) and you can't even power share to the new Galaxy watch as the design is different.
It probably would be better if they had kept the pen functionality and did try and get a chub from making it thinner.

Hi there,
Thank you for sharing your insights about the Galaxy Z Fold7 and reaching out regarding the aspect ratio. Usually, app developers can set their own aspect ratios, and the Z Fold7 offers customizable display options to optimize your experience. You can modify settings from font size to overall screen layout. The screen is calibrated for comfortable, high-quality viewing. To change the aspect ratio for specific apps, tap the app and choose from options like Full screen, 16:9, or 4:3. Be aware that some older or niche apps might need manual resizing to fit the screen. If you encounter issues with split-screen or multitasking, try exiting and reopening the app in full-screen mode on the internal display. For more details on adjusting aspect ratios, please refer to the linked article. We appreciate your feedback, and if you need more help, contact our Samsung Support Team.

The Fold I Love
on November 13, 2025
Posted by: JAStork
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Fold 7 this past summer when it was released. I've owned a Fold 4 and 6 as well as some Ultras. The Fold 7 I found so far to be the most appealing to me because of its thiness and larger screen size when closed. It's snappy in speed and processing allowing me to get work done and respond to customers quickly while multi tasking in multi windows. I find myself using the AI features more than before and found it useful to automatically remove photo bombers in pictures and other less desirable items or shots. It has worked better than I expected. It's the first Fold phone I've had that's comfortable in both my hand and pocket.

Sleek engineering but lack full picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my Galaxy Z Fold 7 for a week now. I do not have many complaints what so ever except for the camera. Pictures lack vibrant colors and luster.
I find Galaxy AI even better that what my employer provides as a tool. Enjoy playing with Galaxy AI.

The Fold 7: The Best Yet, and It's Not Even Close
on August 24, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Look, I've had every Fold since the 3, and I can tell you that the Fold 7 is the one they've been building up to. The difference is just wild. The thinness and lightness are amazing—it finally doesn't feel like a bulky gadget. It's just a sleek, powerful phone that unfolds into a tablet. This phone is literally with me all day. On my commute on the light rail, I'll use the cover screen to check a few emails or texts, and when I'm on a plane, the big screen is perfect for watching movies or playing Diablo Immortal.
Multitasking with multiple apps open at once? A total game-changer. The Galaxy AI features are super helpful, too. I've used them to quickly edit things before I send it. It summarize long articles with the browser.
And the battery life? Insane. I use it all day long and still have 30% left by the time I'm ready for bed. Honestly, my only problem is that I just can't put it down.
