Well I belive it could be much better for Samsung it's a nice phone but the battery is not that good it all maybe the lifespan.( I have zfold 2 5 g) and in comparison I think z fold 2 is much better quality. Samsung could off done a lot better quality phone for z fold 7. Also it's so slippery like a glass you have be very careful.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

First, keep your device’s software up to date to ensure you have the latest security patches for your frequently used apps. Software updates are essential because things are constantly evolving. Next, optimize your battery by going to Settings > Battery, then tap the graph and select View details to see app usage. Turn on Power saving mode to reduce performance and conserve energy. Tap Power saving and enable the switches for your preferred options. Put rarely used apps to sleep in the background to prevent unnecessary drain by selecting Background usage limits. I like the phone. You can see the line at the fold but that was expected. Works just as good as other phones I have had but the split screen and stuff is great and large and easier on this one. Its like having 2 phones net to each other. I wish it had a pn though.

A "wow" from a folding phone veteran

Upgrading from a fold 5 to 7. Love the new size and how slim it is. A bit sad about them nixing the under-pixel camera on the inner screen since it was so neat, but I feel like I won't miss it. Love the green color too. Feels great in hand, I do use both a case and a popsocket, which I think really helps me keep a good hold on it. Unboxed it at work and a group of coworkers oohed and awed at it. We'll see how it holds up but based on my fold 5 staying pristine over the last 2 years despite a few frizbee-esque drops, I'm hoping for great things. I will say the hinge on this thing feels crisp and so satisfying to me, even as a folding phone veteran. I'm really impressed so far. Pic is a comparison of my fold 5 in a case to the fold 7 in a case. Samsung didn't sell a full case so I went with an aftermarket one that covered both sides.
