Great gadget--I bought the absolute latest--but buyers need better instructions via videos, as many buyers live far away from salons offering instruction. Had mine a month and still can't use it well. Also, dryer came with attachments that aren't useful and omitted some that are. Buyers should have a choice of which attachments they want. Would love links to videos for fine wavy hair.

I mean it is ok. I am on my hair journey and I thought this tool would be life changing but it’s just average. My curls don’t hold which sucks Idk if I am using it wrong but I have practiced and changed the settings and my curls fall immediately. I don’t think it’s worth the price , I have 4c hair and have clip ins while I work on growing my natural hair out. I’m still practicing bc I want to love it so bad but I’m not there.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I couldn't wait to test the Dyson Co-anda2x. My hair is 4b/4c doily. It is roughly bra length when fully stretched and pressed. The design of this dryer was attractive. The fact that there was no power off button and that I had to disconnect from the wall in order to turn it off did seem strange to me. I enjoyed using the various attachments that were included, which were fantastic. The dryer was very impressive and had a very short drying time. I truly appreciate that it reduces damage to the hair. It is something I struggle with, and why I don’t style my hair as often. I simply couldn't get the curling attachment to work. It nearly made my hair curl like a banana. I assume people with straight to looser curl patterns will benefit from it more. However, I was depressed because I had been eagerly anticipating it. Although the Dyson is excellent for a quicker, healthier, and less heat-damaged dry, I don't think it outperformed other, significantly less expensive dryers in terms of the final appearance and straightness of my hair. I would also like the diffuser to be able to fit inside the box. Complimentary from dysonhair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone with 4C hair, I was so excited to see Dyson finally release a version of the Coanda 2x designed with our texture in mind. The tool itself is absolutely stunning—especially in this colorway—and everything from the unboxing to syncing my settings in the app felt super premium. I was genuinely impressed by the curling attachment, and I liked the stretching brush with side bristles—it really gripped my hair well. While Dyson says there's no heat damage, just a heads up: your hair will still feel hot to the touch after using it. I'm giving it four stars because, even though it's a beautiful and smart tool, I still prefer my usual blow dry brush for stretching my 4c hair. This was complimentary from Dyson.

I bought this and had to return it. It doesn't live up to the hype. It leaves 3b hair frizzy and dry. With a round brush and blow dryer at a fraction of the cost, you can take your hair from wet to smooth. The Dyson takes it from wet to frizzy to frizzy/smooth.

I did not like it , it keep turning off and I had to go over the same hair a few times . Also I was not able to smooth out my roots. My hair lasted just like 2 days . Too expensive for this .

Let me tell you, I’ve had my hair done with the older versions of the airwrap, and while II’ve enjoyed it, I never felt like my curls were fully tamed or was getting flat enough. This dryer has tools suited better for curly/coily hair and a stronger motor with more airflow to allow a sleeker style. I highly recommend! This product was gifted to me by Dyson in exchange for my honest review.
