Install and connection is easy! Plays well with google home but also the app is easy to use! Though check if your ceiling is flat, if you install the base plate too tight you might not be able to get it on easy! (Just loosen the screws!)

I bougt this just for the white leds in the upper ring, i had a couple of 12" and those disappointed me as the rgb ring can't be turned on with the ww center light, neither this one, you're stock with ww_cw light or color light there's no possibility to mix them
Besides the lack of options to configure its a great product, after power shortage in the middle of the night they don't turn on unless you want to.
Great for watching a movie with dreamview

I've been using the Govee 12 inch ceiling light (little brother to the 15 inch pro) for some time now and when this came out I jumped on it right away. I can say right off the bat, this is a very polished product. The brightness and quality of the colors is very noticeable. I used to get the slight buzzing noise from the unit when certain scenes were configured. I don't get that buzzing noise from the 15 inch Pro model. Very happy and will buy more for other rooms.

The best light I could find to attach to my 72" ceiling fan. With the bluetooth and wifi control through the Govee Home App, now the light, can be modified wirelessly, to meet the use of the room, ie dimming, full brightness, color and scenes.

A bit disappointed

What I was looking for was bright white light from the bottom (the illumination mode) and being able to do a color-right at the top (color mode). You can control the sections individually with regards to power (one can be on while the other is off) but they always share the same mode. You're either in color mode, which gets you light out of the bottom which isn't so bright, or lumination mode, which is white light which is bright.
I don't understand why you can't control the sections individually to have color + illumination.
