High cost for not a great built in refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had this refrigerator for only 3 months and it wasn’t cooling to a correct temperature. Didn’t connect until we had thrown out tons of food that was spoiling for no reason. The way the engine is set up above and the coils were actually freezing so the refrigerator wasn’t functioning correctly. Bought a stand alone thermometer to monitor things as we know this will happen again with how the equipment is designed. Very disappointed for the cost of the refrigerator and the normal quality that kitchenaid is known for. We are getting ready to build another house and i highly doubt we will use this brand again sadly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a replacement for a 42 inch side by side built in that NEVER worked correctly. After six months and 5 failed repair attempts Whirlpool HQ agreed to give us this upgrade French door model as a replacement. After two months .....so far so good. But with this model we gave up ice and water in the door since they NEVER worked with the side by side. Generally we are pleased with this model. One odd thing is you have to open both doors to slide the produce bin out...just strange. But it is attractive (finish), large enough (capacity), quite and so far operating per expectation re: temperature control, freshness, etc......holding our breaths.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Replacement for similar refrigerator that failed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Aesthetically pleasing refrigerator that replaced same model that petered out before warranty expired. Was hesitant to order same model that was very expensive and expected it to last more than 6 years. Hope this one lasts a little longer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
