I bought this range and one reason for that was the meat thermometer; this did not come with the product so I called LG and was promised it would come in the mail with a users manual. The manual arrived but no nest thermometer. Last time I will purchase LG anything

The convection feature of the large oven chamber cooks everything quickly and evenly no matter what shelf it is on. The range top is super easy to clean. Nothing seems to stick to the ceramic-like surface and there is a deep well around the burners, so even if something boils over, it does not run over the counter. It looks great too.

We replaced our 30 year old gas range a few weeks ago with this LG and it was a great move. Our new LG gives great control over the burners with long, smooth travel in the controls and much more fine tuning ability of flame size. Further, the simmer setting actually works. If your food is slightly boiling on low and your adjust it to simmer it stops boiling. The control of the burner heat output is great. The convection oven is a great feature as well. No more rotating baking items to make them cook evenly. I verified with a cooking thermometer in bread I was baking that the temperature is nearly identical throughout the oven. It also cooks in less time that the original gas range.
