My favorite new device

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new galaxy 8 watch it's amazing. It tracks my workout heart rate etc it let's me know my sleep pattern. I can ask Google/ Al anything and i get a fast accurate response immediately. It helps with reminders with my busy schedule. I love to eat out it also have feature that let's me know how much I suppose to tip it's awesome 5 stars. 🙂

Samsung Galaxy Watch8 Is a Life Saver in Disguise!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my first Samsung telephone just before my now 18 year old Granddaughter was born when I walked in an electronics store and asked for "the best camera you have that I can take Grandbaby pictures on...and I also want to make calls on it!" I've continued to be loyal to the superior BRAND all these years, adding a Samsung Smart Watch a little later. I have had no trouble with any Samsung device, but have just exchanged my second Watch to the EIGHT. WHY? I have recently been diagnosed with heart issues and other medical concerns, and know that Samsung AI and the Samsung Watch8 work together to help monitor my health quickly, easily, and accurately so I can seek relief immediately. Plus, having 911 and regular phone call capability strapped to my wrist, I feel safer all day long!

Reliable, Great Features

There's times I've had full conversations through my watch and the sound quality is FANTASTIC! I haven't lost signal or had any connection issues at all. I absolutely love it. The work out features and AI features are TOP notch.

This watch replaced my Galaxy watch 6 which was my first experience with a Galaxy watch. The new watch Galaxy watch 8 pleasantly surprised me by its design improvements. It is so much mo lighter and comfortable. Great change.

Good watch except parental controls are awful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this to track my kid bc A) It was free with my phone plan, B) Kid-specific watches all had some drawback C) They advertised the new parental controls. "School time" shuts off games and ... maybe other things? but it doesn't shut off texting or calling, which defeats the purpose in large part. Also you can't put time limits on any apps, and you can't remove access to apps without fully deleting. All the things I was hoping for, the watch does not support. I'm hopeful it's bc parental controls are new and they're coming. But in the meantime, I'm disappointed. Aside from that it's a solid watch - will be even better if the battery will ever last longer than about a day.

I've had enough

Ok, I've had enough. I hate this watch. From having a phone die, to switching to the new phone, to my new phone forgetting the watch for 2 seconds, I've had to reset this thing and lose all my data 3 times. The sync across Samsung Health and Smart Switch is just terrible. I've lost so much data, it makes me angry. I'm done with Samsung. I'm going to try the Google Pixel.

Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. If your watch will not pair to a phone, or if it randomly disconnects, restart your watch. You should also make sure the Galaxy wearable app is up to date, but it may be necessary to reset the app and unpair your watch. Please review, "Samsung smart watch will not connect to a phone" to help resolve what you may be experiencing with your connectivity. If your Samsung Health data isn't syncing automatically between your watch and phone, you should check your network connection and make sure the app is updated. If your watch was set up without a phone, then your most recent activity is stored only on the watch and you will not be able to view it on your phone. Without having more details available regarding what you may be experiencing with your device and without being able to ask you any follow up questions to probe further, I recommend reaching out to Samsung Support after reviewing the resources shared if you would like further assistance with troubleshooting your device further. Great watch, not great battery

I love the watch and all it can do. Great health, sleep and steps tracking. Very comfortable, as well. Great upgrade from the 6. Only problem is battery life. I get about one day and that's without screen always on. It's just normal usage.

Always had the larger size of the Galaxy watches but went with the smaller this time. Glad i did! Much better size and doesnt look overbearing. I like the enhanced functionality over the watch 5 i traded in; much more info thst is beneficial.
