[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The processing on the phone is amazing, I've already tried to play some games and I can tell a difference in processing and detail from my other phone and now I can make my screen bigger also which makes it twice as fun for it being twice it's size

Good build bad features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Switched to this from the Google pixel 9 pro fold and I can say the build quality is a apparent upgrade I do miss some of the features like being able to save app pairings as icons, the ability to rotate anything when the phone is unfolded, and the fact it had no restrictions on what apps you could use on split screen

The best yet
on July 26, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the fold series for the last few years after switching from the note series for work, productivity is the key for any phone I get. Being in management for a company that is in the 8 figures bracket, everything moves quickly and there is no time to wait to be "in the office", the office needs to be with me at all times. The fold series has been great for this purpose, but this device has taken it to a new level, with the sleek design, thin screens, lighter weight, wider cover screen, better cameras and a feature packed ui, this phone is a productivity powerhouse that is unrivaled. With the support of Galaxy Ai, there are no limits to what you can do on this device, calling it a phone at this point feels like a disservice.
One thing is certain, the fold series is my series and I will be with this line for the long haul, this is definitely the best yet and it's only going to get better from here.
Bravo Samsung.

Better than I could have imagined
on July 26, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an S23 Ultra, but it started dying: unresponsive screen, wasn't working well as a phone. I used Samsung Switch & Google to set up my Z Fold7, it took an hour & a half, but EVERYTHING transferred! All of my apps both personal and for work, all of my photos & music, my call logs, my texts -- Everything transferred. Using just the front screen it's just a slightly smaller Samsung. But if you open it up (which was far easier than I anticipated) I can actually see without my reading glasses the article or email! Watched South Park last night, and it switches the orientation to sideways with a film box. It was like watching on a tablet. Works well as an actual phone. Takes wide selfies with both sides open. Great camera. I was worried I would see the fold when the phone is open, but I really don't. I am relieved that it's better than I thought it would be. No regrets

Honest review from a iPhone user
on July 26, 2025

First off, let’s talk about the common complaints. From what I’ve seen, there are really only two major issues people bring up: the lack of S Pen support and the fact that Samsung used the same battery as last year’s model. Most of the other reviews don’t even relate to the phone itself.
I can understand the frustration around the S Pen—it would’ve been nice if the phone supported it, especially at this price point. But personally, I don’t think it’s a big deal. If you really need one, you can always use an aftermarket pen. Now, as far as the battery goes, yes, they should’ve upgraded it. But to be honest, the performance is still impressive. I streamed for about eight hours straight with the phone fully unfolded and still had around 40% battery left before plugging it in. That’s better than what I’ve seen from my iPhone.
The 120Hz refresh rate is smooth, the speaker quality is great for such a thin device, and the phone feels surprisingly durable for a foldable. One thing I appreciate is that they removed the under-display camera. You don’t even notice a camera hole now, and you get slightly better image quality in return.
All in all, I’m really happy with the phone. I think anyone spending more than $400 should definitely get insurance, especially with a foldable screen. If anything happens, having that coverage makes replacing or repairing it way easier.

Beautiful device

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gotta say. In the first few days of using this new fold the wow factor has not gone away. The device is slim with a gorgeous screen and awesome camera. It's really hard putting this thing down and every single person I've shown this thing to ends up wanting one.
The upgraded Galaxy AI features really take the user experience to a whole new level.
Samsung you knocked it out of the park here.

The Foldable Powerhouse: Drowning Out the Backlash
on July 26, 2025

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is a powerhouse. Super fast, ultra thin, and lightweight. The hype is real. The large inner display looks amazing, perfect for movies, multitasking, even running games and classic console emulators! Top tier.
About the negative reviews: They're ridiculous. Samsung announced no S Pen support. If it's a deal breaker, don't get the phone. People complaining about the price, if it's too much don't get it. Simple.
