Perfect for people with Presbyopia.

Battery problems

We understand that the battery life has not met your expectations, and we believe we have options to help you extend it.
Your device includes settings and features to monitor and extend battery life. To maximize battery performance, consider using power-saving modes as needed. If you are a heavy user, keep in mind that by default, your phone uses a Standard performance profile that balances processing speed, battery life, and cooling efficiency. However, you can switch to Light mode, which prioritizes battery life over processing speed. To do this, go to Settings, tap Device care, then select Performance profile and choose Light.
Additionally, keeping apps open in the background all day can quickly drain your battery. To conserve power, consider using the sleeping app settings. If there are certain apps you rarely use, you can set them to sleep in the background to prevent battery drain. You can also configure apps to sleep automatically if you haven't opened them in a while. To set this up, go to Settings, tap Battery, then select Background usage limits.

Could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is a nice phone with a very sleek design, and the overall storage capacity is great. I primarily use my device to stay on top of school and work. However, I have noticed that the phone tends to overheat once you reach about half of the storage capacity. Another major drawback is that it doesn't come with a protective outer box. If you happen to drop the phone, it definitely affects the internal processing system and alters how the haptics move and feel. While checking out features like Galaxy AI is interesting, the performance stability doesn't quite hold up under regular use compared to older models. Honestly, I prefer the Samsung Fold 5 opposed to the 7, which was my original phone. Because of these hardware and heating sensitivities, I personally wouldn't recommend this device specifically to anyone who is super technologically advanced.

Samsung's Galaxy products are designed with system protections to minimize performance degradation during temporary temperature extremes. Additionally, battery protection mechanisms are in place to limit charging when the heat reaches a certain level. However, despite these safeguards, Galaxy devices can still emit heat in certain situations and environments.
If your Galaxy device is overheating, here are a few steps you can take to resolve the issue:
1. **Check for Software Updates:**
- Go to **Settings > Device care**.
- Tap **Optimise now**.
- Review the results and tap **Done**.
2. **Turn Off Background Apps:**
- Go to **Settings > Device care**.
- Tap **Battery**.
- Turn on the **Power saving** switch.
- Tap **Background usage limits**.
- Turn on the **Put unused apps to sleep** switch.

So far it's ok but....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sound is horrible. Speaker sound is very low and I practically have to hold up to my ear. Having ear buds or a Bluetooth doesn't help. Phone is great other than that.

The large foldable screen makes these AI tools more practical and productive than on a standard smartphone. My Galaxy Z Fold 7 is one of the best thin foldable phones available. If you want a phone that doubles as a mini tablet and leverages Galaxy AI to boost productivity, it's an outstanding choice
