Almost Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So many things need to be considered when making a folding phone. Samsung has thought of almost everything that I could want. The main area that this phone struggles is in "open" screen mode. The aspect ratio simply doesn't fit well with a lot of apps and even Samsung's own UI doesn't seem to like to transition smoothly or easily often requiring apps or require closing and opening with the phone itself. It's as if the user never truly gets to take advantage of the entire screen for viewing video or playing games because the aspect ratio doesn't fit into the scheme many video players and apps aren't optimized for. I understand that this isn't necessarily a Samsung problem but it should be considered by end users who may be under the impression that they will get true full screen modes when the phone is opened.

A True Flagship Device

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While closed, the Galaxy Fold7 competes with every other flagship device on the market. While no specific feature is standout, the overall package delivers on every front: screen performance, cameras, internal chipset, etc - it performs as well as any premium device on the market. Samsung's Android OS feels feature-laden and yet seamless; I've never felt it was burdensome or laggy, and every feature or setting I've needed was easily found. If I have any minor complaint it might be the battery size; it's plenty big for a busy day's use, but it's the one area the hardware seems "good enough" instead of "class leading".
And then you unfold the phone. If the Fold7 keeps up with the competition while closed, opening the phone feels like a turbo boost in a racing game that leaves the competition in the dust. People out and about still routinely stop me and ask what just happened, or where I kept my tablet. Multitasking is a breeze - email and calendar? Spreadsheet and text message? PDF and video chat? Using this device in a meeting or while managing life feels like cheating.
I'm a little more than six months into owning the Fold7, and I would buy this device again in a heartbeat.

Perfect for my lifestyle

The multi screen works in so many application during my day to day work and pleasure lifestyle. I have yet to explore all the features. Artificial Intelligence is great on many different applications and works flawlessly.

AWESOME Phone

He likes to game and the HUGE screen is not only a plus for that, but also for streaming videos and movies clearly! We were worried it would eventually "wear" down the middle where it folds, but nope! (you can use screen protectors!)
Our favorite little bonus is the Galaxy AI feature! You can do so many things, but our favorite is to circle an object on the screen and it will FIND what it is!! It's amazing!

I have been a big Fold fan from the fold 3. Somthing i have had in common with the big screen thry tend to fail on the 2nd year. I have owned a 3,4,6, and now a 7. Weathe the hinge tend to fsil to the scree going black. Everything els is good. I cant see my self buying a diffrent phone with the exception of the trifold but thr cost and the big screen i would need an extended warranty.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love gaming on here!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this phone! It is versatile and comfortable to use, even when fully opened. I purchased the fold 5 after it came after seeing how my favorite game looked on it! Saved up so I could get the new version fold7) knowing the quality would be improved...and it definitely has been. The images look even more clear. Something in particular that is super useful for me is being able to split screen Genshin and a search screen so that I can reference guides while still actively playing. That was a game changer for me.
The only thing that I feel is really missing is a better camera. Using the Galaxy AI features can improve some parts of the images I capture, but doesn't completely replace a fantastic one taken from the start.
The Galaxy AI features I find most useful have been the calendar, photo editing/stickers, and audio transcription.
I miss the stylus but it isn't an issue since you can still use a regular one purchased elsewhere.
Overall this has been my favorite phone- great versatility with inner and outer screen usages, lightweight, great screen quality, built in AI features are useful.
