[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used flip 5 for 2 yrs and since flip 7 has Exynos, I decided to buy fold 7.
First time using fold 7 and so far so good.
Yet, I have few issues, but I think it is mostly app issues with new UI.
1. Android Audo doesn't work property.
When connecting, Map doesn't show at all and there is no selection for Map. So, I have to re-connect until showing. Tested on my 2020 Benz and 2025 Benz. At least 2020 Benz is wired Android Auto, so I just need to unplug and re connect the wire to work, but 2025 Benz is wireless, so I have to remove the phone list and reconnect. This never happened on flip 5. This is annoying..
2. When using Aliexpress, the phone freezes.
When I open Aliexpress app from an email link, the phone freezes. This never happens before on flip 5. I just have to wait about a min to work property.
3. Facebook and Instagram msgs don't load from old msgs somehow. I have fast internet, but it just doesn't load. This also never happened on flip 5.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my Z Fold 7 more than I use my laptop. The convenience of this platform is ridiculous. I connected a Bluetooth mouse and it was a game changer. It's a bit on the pricey side but if you use it like it's intended to be used , trust it's worth it. The lack of S pen was a bummer but, I'll make do. The only thing i haven't used yet is the Galaxy AI. Long story short , i love my Galaxy Fold 7!!!!

This fold is leagues better than any previous fold

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This phone is such an improvement over the previous fold 4 I had. Almost all of the gripes I had with that phone have been addressed. The biggest and most striking improvements are how thin and light the phone is. The pictures/videos truly dont do it justice. Unfolded it's so thin that it doesn't feel like your holding a phone. It's also noticeably lighter than my S24 Ultra. The screen size unfolded also feels ideal for work purposes, and the transition from folded to unfolded (and vice versa) is as seamless as you can reasonably accept.
Im also a bug fan of the fingerprint scanner being built into the lock/unlock button, it's far more accurate and responsive than when it was built behind the display.
The only con is how pricey the phone is (I always trade-in my previous Samsung which offsets the cost quite a bit but if not for that I probably wouldn't have splurged on it) and not having an IP 68 rating like the new pixel pro fold. However, you can see the huge gap in innovation between the two in every other metric. Like the pixel, Galaxy AI is heavily built into every feature and can be used seamlessly in most applications.
Overall I'd highly recommended this phone and am excited to see what they bring to the new tri fold coming in october!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hesitant to upgrade from S24 Ultra but I am so glad I did to the Z Fold 7! The front screen isn't as small as I was thinking and when the phone is open to the larger screen it is so cool and feels like a small computer.

From being able to transition from a sleek one screen to a massive screen with one motion has definitely changed my perspective on playing video games on phones forever! Using Galaxy AI made my search for content 100x more efficient, with a simple request, Galaxy AI has gathered multiple results tailored to what best fits my request, leading to me being able to find what I was looking for in the fraction of the time. Overall this phone never ceases to amaze me even to this day, the numerous functionalities of this phone has yet to explored, I am looking forward to exploring this phone more, and am grateful I made the leap to transition into a new platform that I will most likely never leave!
