Not Happy. Touchscreen lacks sensitivity

I have bought samsung exclusively for years and the fold devices since launch. The 7 is a bit of a disappointment as the touchscreen frequently does not respond. So sad, uggh do I need to switch phones? Not happy

The Z Fold7 has a CPU that is 38% faster, a GPU that gives you 26% smoother graphics, and an NPU that makes AI tasks 41% quicker compared to the Galaxy Z Fold6. We know how important the touchscreen is for navigating your device, so it can be frustrating when it isn’t working right. If your touchscreen is frozen or unresponsive, there are some easy steps you can take to get it working again. Please check the attached link for helpful suggestions. Keep in mind that Samsung offers a 12-month limited warranty for any manufacturer defects. You can also add Samsung Care+ on eligible devices for extra protection and support. No Spen support

Overall, I like the phone. The size is great, it is much slimmer and fits better in my hand. The Camera is excellent. The only down size is no S Pen support. Had I of known I probably would have passed on this update. I use the S Pen regularly and with a screen this size it only compliments it more. Samsung bring back the S Pen on the next model.

Better than expected

So far its been a great phone. I do wish it had a better camera but sometimes you need to make slight sacrifices to have such a super light and thin phone. I haven't used it unfolded much yet but I'm sure the more I play around with it I will take advantage of the inner screen and its features.

Brilliant so far - Samsung Fold 7

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my third foldable from Samsung, and it’s hands-down the best performer yet. The speed and responsiveness are unmatched, making it the fastest Fold I’ve used. The new slim design is a game-changer — no more “brick” feeling in the pocket, and it feels natural to carry around. It pairs seamlessly with my Galaxy Buds, Ring, and Ultra Watch, which makes the ecosystem experience smooth and integrated.
The main foldable display is impressive, though the under-display camera cutout can still feel a bit obtrusive when watching full-screen content. The crease is noticeably reduced compared to the Fold 6, which is encouraging, but long-term durability remains to be seen with heavy use.
Where the Fold 7 disappoints is in audio. The sound is surprisingly quiet, even at full volume, whether on calls or listening through earbuds. This is a step backward from the Fold 6, which had much stronger, fuller sound. Given the premium price hike, this drop in sound quality feels like a real trade-off and makes me question the overall value.
That said, if multitasking is your priority, the Fold 7 continues to shine. Running multiple windows side-by-side, checking emails, and watching movies on the expansive display is exactly where this phone proves its worth. I do, however, still miss the S Pen especially for photo editing etc....
