Awesome Phone
on August 24, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just upgraded from the Fold 4 and glad I did. I just love the multitasking you're able to do with the Fold series, whether it beemails, spreadsheets, online shopping or just watching a video on the side. With this phone being the lightest phone ever and what I'm able to do all together just makes switching back to a traditional phone difficult.
Another thing that really take things to the next level is the Galaxy AI. Photo editing with this Ai tool is so easy, you just circle and delete what you don't want and being able to see the differences side by side to compare the two is a nice feature to have.
With all this being said the only reason for not having 5 stars is the battery size. Although Galaxy AI is used to help optimize battery usage, not putting in a bigger battery when all other foldables have opted to is a little dissapointing.

The Best Fold Yet

Overall, this is a huge leap forward for the Fold series. The Fold 7 is ergonomic and well proportioned now. Gone is the skinny and unoptimized front screen, it now resembles and functions as well as a bar phone. Then, once you open it up, you have a mini tablet, and many apps are now optimized better to function better on it. The part that is lacking and the reasoning for taking a star off is for a couple reasons. One, the battery is unchanged in capacity from the Fold 6, and the phone barely lasts until after dinner. Not reassuring if you’re taking it on the go for the day, especially if you are using it in tablet form moreso. The second problem is the fingerprint scanner location and functionality. It sometimes works, if you can properly find it.
Overall, a well designed device with a lot of pluses from prior models and updates, but also with some missed opportunities for upgrades.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thank you for your review of the Galaxy Z Fold7, Olly. We appreciate that you love its functionality and see it as an extension of your computer. Your experience highlights how the Fold series blends the convenience of a mobile device with the capabilities of a computer. If you haven't tried it yet, we encourage you to explore the drag and drop feature. This feature really enhances efficiency by allowing you to move images and text seamlessly between apps. For example, you can easily drag an image from an email into a PowerPoint presentation or transfer a paragraph from a Word document into a text message with just one motion. It’s a game changer for getting work done more smoothly. If you have any concerns or need assistance, please feel free to reach out to us at Samsung Support. -Kelvin

Insane speed, sleek design, samsung killed it with Fold 7. Bigger display and thin phones is the new trend I guess. Cant wait to see what Fold 8 has to offer.

Volume Key
on September 15, 2025
Posted by: Reddog
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] *I think the volume key should be on the screen that folds up.
* Honesty I'm a huge Samsung fan. But I was very disappointed in the fold. Samsung needs to keep the pen!
* Samsung advertised the fold for business users!! Add the pens back!!

The product software and capabilities are great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 stands as a powerful testament to the progress of foldable technology, a device that has successfully refined many of the criticisms leveled at its predecessors. It boasts a sleek, lightweight design, stunning displays, a best-in-class processor, and a vastly improved camera system. On the surface, it is a triumph of engineering and a genuinely compelling option for those seeking a singular device for both productivity and media consumption. However, this impressive achievement is fundamentally undermined by a single, catastrophic flaw: the inherent fragility of its inner main display. The reported failure of the screen from a simple, low-force interaction—a case study at the heart of this analysis—is not an isolated incident but a symptom of a systemic vulnerability that contradicts the manufacturer's bold durability claims.
This review concludes that while the Galaxy Z Fold 7 pushes the boundaries of smartphone technology, its core promise of a durable and reliable device is broken. The high cost of repair and documented susceptibility to everyday pressure damage represent a significant financial and functional risk for the consumer. Its fatal flaw in fundamental reliability prevents it from being a practical choice for the general public. If I knew the inner screen could be damaged by pressing a app to open it, I would have kept my I phone 15 pro max. If Samsung doesn't help rectify the issue, it may be my last Samsung.

Hi there, Thank you for sharing your feedback on the Galaxy Z Fold7. We value your input and appreciate your detailed thoughts. Regarding screen durability concerns, Galaxy Z devices feature multiple protective layers and undergo testing to handle daily use, all while preserving their slim, foldable design that makes them distinctive. The durability of the device comes from Samsung’s foldable OLED technology. The Galaxy Z Fold7 has passed a 500,000-fold durability test conducted by Bureau Veritas, a global testing organization, highlighting its impressive resilience. It’s also the first Samsung display to boost the Ultra Thin Glass by 50%, greatly improving impact absorption. Many users enjoy the immersive display and multitasking capabilities unique to the Galaxy Z Fold7. Thank you for choosing Samsung’s innovative technology. -Ty
